Roach was paying sparring partners to try KD Pac. I doubt Pac was trying to do the same...he was probably trying to learn from Khans reach and speed rather than trying to KO him. Of course there is the headgear issue...

if you look at offensive skills alone, khan is world class. its just his defence and chin issues that bother him. with that in mind, it is highly possible that he was, infact, giving pacquiao a little bother. Freddy himself even said he used amir because his left jab is so good and presented a simulation of the problems oscar would give manny.
