While it seems that DHL may be the taller fighter with the longer reach, the body size of the two don't seem to be much different.. DLH may have the bigger chest, waist, and thigh, Pacquiao has the bigger calfs, fists, and neck.. If you look at this tale of the tape, it don't seem to be that much of a size difference at all.. Any thoughts?

Reach scares me. Pacman CANNOT allow him to establish the jab, or get into a rythym.

Indeed.. I'm not so much worried about the height, but the reach is the biggest advantage for DLH and his main weapon tonight is the jab, not the left hook.. If Pac can use good footwork and come at DLH at different angles, then I think he'll get past his jab.. When Mayweather started moving laterally and coming at DLH with different angles, thats when he abandoned the jab..

You can look at it the other way round; if the shorter man doesn't have any other real physical advantages, he's in trouble. Like Manny said when Cotto was fighting Margo; all their stats look similar but Margo is 4-5" taller, which makes a big difference. Tua, Tyson etc, shorter guys, usually have much thicker wrists, thighs etc than their opponents.

    LOL Pac is not 5'6.5"

    He is 5'5"

Hence the pics with Pac in running shoes and DLH barefoot.

I really didn't think Margo's height was any advantage against Cotto.. Margo is just one tough cookie that can take any shot to the chin just about.. DLH may have the height and reach, but Pac's got some physical advantages as well..

Just by looking at their pics, DLH to me looks A LOT physically bigger.

Oscars fist looks a lot bigger than Pac's, yet its recorded to be an inch smaller.

Pictures can be deceiving.. It could've been the way the picture was taken or the angle of the camera.. DLH may look pyshically stronger to some, but that means nothing.. For example, Lacy and Miranda were extremely cut and looked much more fit than their opponents, but both Abraham and Taylor were able to defeat them though they didn't look as physically in-shape..

its hard to tell here due to the angle and the fact that manny's fist is clenched tight while oscars definitely is not. doesnt matter anyways...

BoxRec is usually accurate except for their P4P rankings and I was just only saying that Pac isn't just listed as 5'6½" in the tale of the tape, but he's listed at that height on many sites.. So go ahead and smack your head.. I'd much rather go by BoxRec than you..

pacquiao looks like a little pit bull... de la hoya is looking pretty gaunt, what happened to his arms? i like the fact that when manny moves up in weight he looks so much stronger. he's still solid muscle despite the huge weight increase since last year...
