Both gave it everything, heavy punches, skill and passion. Even going into the final round they were exchanging big shots and trying to knock each other out. And both were respectful and appreciative in the post-fight interviews. Fights like that are the lifeblood of boxing. :happy
no matter your personal opinion on ether fighter, that was one hell of a scrap. great fight, 2 athletes really entertaining the crowd. froch has a great chin and pascal really threw the kitchen skin at him early on.
Props to Froch he proved he was the better man tonight. Hope for a rematch in 2-3 years it will be crazy
Both of them took huge shots flush to the chin. Only Pascal looked a little hurt for a moment, but that passed. This was a great fight but i can't help thinking Froch just looked too sluggish to be able to beat the likes of Kessler. That said his chin looks like it could withstand anything and, with the huge bombs he's clearly capable of throwing, you can't rule anything out.
You missed a great fight.Saw it myself from the 5th on and it was great,kinda like a Balboa vs Creed fight only they (Froch and Pascal) had slower rounds in the end.Great fight,watch it.
