Based on the fact that The first 2 fights on 'Judgement night' Both opening fights saw what appeared to complete mis-matches. First Maccarinelli although stepping up to HeavyWeight, appeared just to be in to greater shape and more importantly Focus then his opponent who looked frightened. Then following on was Kahn vs ***en, ***en may have never been stopped before and credit to him, however he was completly outclassed by Kahn, so much so that the weaknesses everyone was wondering if Kahn was going to recover from were barely tested, yes he defended better then before but it was not really a test of defence, yes he was being more patient but it was a second round stoppage following 2 knockdowns in the first, so he wasnt exactly spending the 2/3 rounds figuring out his opponent that he was touted as starting to do. Then we move on to the Froch fight (I dont know if the non-uk residents got this fight) but that was a 12-round war. Both men giving thier all both showing strong chins and stronger will. So far very dissappointed with my purchase of 'Judgement Night' I am Just praying that ODH vs MP will not be a sub 2 min stoppage. Interestingly though Amidst the common opinion that a good big guy beats a great little guy I am hoping and believe that MP can pull of the victory. Hope you all enjoy the night.
the best things are always free. i cant believe you payed to watch that ****. ill wait for it to go up on youtube.
All the fights I have seen tonight on Sky and ITV have been exciting, very enjoyable. You could justify not paying for Judement night if it wern't for Oscar-Pac but that is still to come so no I don't think it is better than "judgement night"
I really enjoyed the Froch/Pascal fight, edge of my seat all night and free as well. Well done to both fighter's Great fight.
of course it was, it was british fight of the year because of its significance and great action, that khan and enzo bull**** was classic frank warren it was clever on warrens part to get a foreign fighter for khan as had he fought an english fighter the public would all be for the other guy, he is trying to get the public back on his side
If Pacquiao-ODLH wasn't on the PPV then yes. What some people haven't realised yet is that Pacman-De La Hoya is the type of fight that will be talked about for years. They're both going down as ATG's regardless of what happens tonight. But yes, amazing fight on ITV. Great stuff, and very good for British boxing, and free-to-air boxing.
As i always said it would be, the Froch fight was clearly the highlight. A cracking old-school tear up. People will criticise it beacuse the pure skills weren't on display, but i couldn't give a rats arse. A total display of courage and determination from both fighters, Pascal will remain in my memory for that fight, total respect for the man. I didn't waste my time with Harrison, but Khan and Macca did everything that could be expected of them against mis-matched opponents. Macca is a genuine top class fighter and will do well, Khan is at the very top with his offence, how far he can take these skills against the best remains to be seen. Great night for the sport though!
i saw a spectaclur ko in mcintosh anderson a really tough grueling awkward style fight with david-wright tyson fury debut who had alot of am attention....much more interesting to watch him than chisora. lawton-gethin which was also pretty good...awful cut tho then a cracking close trade fight with pascal froch...and only becuase i bought a single payment digi box. bigger names are with warren of course...but these guys on the hennesy card are having some great competative fights. not one is a soft touch....ok fury's oponnant was a 6'1 cruiserwieght but still a debut is a debut.
Err can I just sneak in the fact that Britains finest have conquered all foreign competitors in the last month or so. Haye, Calzaghe, Hatton, Froch and Khan. GB-5/World-0 Come on UK!
