Read through at the people claiming that Oscar would come in around 160-165, and that Manny would stay the same.

    I love being right.

I give you kudos too Window, but seriously.

You must agree that this can just be made up to make the fight look more legitimate?

So is your excuse now that Oscar lost to the "bigger man"?

well it looks like we all got to see how Manny can handle fighters who are in fact bigger than him. didnt we? :good

it was very obvious how much naturally bigger(even at 147) Oscar was compared to Pacquiao once they were in the ring, Oscar just didnt impose his size like he shouldve.

it was surprising that Delahoya came into the ring at 147 though. i believe that either he wanted to try to keep as much of his speed as he can or he wanted to even out their size difference as much he could. he did look smaller than in his last fights but we all know that he was obviously well below his prime fighting weight.

one other note is that HBO's Tale of the Tape listed Oscar as havin a 1 inch reach advantage. thats just wrong, his reach is actually about 5-6 inches more than Pac. if you look at the face off pic from yesterday, youll see that Oscars shoulders are much higher than Pacquiao's but his hands still hung alot lower than Pacmans.

Oscar seriously needs to retire now. the biggest disappointment about him tonight was that he gave up and let a smaller man continually push him and beat his ass the way Pac did.

After seeing them in the ring do you really believe HBO's BS? ;)

HBO lied about the wieght to make the fight look more competitive, because like almost everyone else they thought Manny was going to get wrecked and the fight was going to be a joke.

In the end though they were dead wrong and so was everyone else.

Manny ended up beating a much bigger man.

Its a pitty they did'nt tell us the real weight so Pac's win would look even more impressive :goodand Oscar would look like even more of a fool.

So... everyone can eat their crow now. I have been saying that there is a great possibility of this happening since day one. I called them both. I called that they would be about the same weight in the ring... Manny actually weighed more. I also called that there is a good chance that Manny could stop Oscar, due to his age, inactivity, the styles, ect.... yet, everyone wanted to act like I was just an "Oscar Nuthugger" trying to make the fight seem legit. Shame on you haters, you are ruining this sport. Guys like me, can be a huge fan of a fighter... yet I always speak what I believe to be the truth, and I never compromise my thoughts on a fight due to just being a fan.

Congrats to Pac.... he looked amazing. Regardless of Oscar's obvious lack of legs... Pac has clearly filled out great at Welterweight, and has never looked better. He mixed his punches up beautifully, and his footwork was tremendous. Not only was Oscar unable to get out of the way from that great straight left, but Manny's right jab, and counter right hook were also great.

Manny vs Hatton will be a fun fight. If Mayweather ever wanted to prove something, he should definitely come out of retirement to fight Pac. I always felt that JMM beat Pac, but I really don't think that Marquez could carry this higher weight like Pac, and I don't see Pac dropping back down anything further than possibly 140.

That being said, I felt horrible watching Oscar take that beating. I knew the fight was over in round 2. Oscar simply couldn't let his hands go. It was sad to see him find the openings, **** his hand... and not being able to let it fly. He would jab hard, find success... and then the jab would stop. His legs are completely gone, and he had absolutely no head movement. I told my cousin before the fight that all I could invision was Pac's straight left just landing over and over again because Oscar can't move like he used to. However, Oscar obviously trained his ass off to come into the ring, and Manny whitewashed him. I really wish they would have stopped the fight sooner, because the 8th round was completely unnecessary.

I really hope Oscar retires. I have been a huge fan since the Olympics, but he clearly doesn't have anything to prove. He also clearly doesn't have anything left to offer against a top level fighter like Pac. I would understand one farewell fight, against a lesser opponent. He probably doesn't want to go out the way that he did last night.

Now, moving on with the newer generation. Congrats to Pac, I am a fan... and I am very interested in seeing what happens next for him. He is a great fighter, and a great person. Very humble... and there is nothing not to like about the guy.

I bet you can't find a single post were I was bragging about how Oscar was going to beat Pac. You know why? Because I knew he didn't have it in him anymore. I hate to admit it, but I actually put money on Pac.

Looks like Widdow might know a little something about the sport. It's hilarious when I am called a nuthugger for speaking the truth.
