There's two other threads like this but I'll admit my guilt again.
    Mea Culpa Mea Culpa

But here's something else. Most of us were pissed at Oscar for taking on Pac and were hoping the worse for him. Did Hoya know something we did not? Were we the blind ones and not Hoya and his team who said it were to be a tough fight as it turned out?

Maybe we also need to apologize to Hoya in thinking he took the easy fight.

i had some money on oscar although i wanted manny to win but i had thought it was a mismatch.i didnt watch the fight cause it was just to much money for it so i'll wait until next week to watch it. i think hatton and manny would be a great fight for about the 1st 7 rounds but then i think manny's leg movement will get to ricky and he'll beat ricky the same way ricky beat tzsyu. a mayweather fight will be hard to pick cause pretty himself has speed with his leg movement so he could get out of the pocket.

Rooted for manny cuz i hate de la hoya but i have to admit that i thought de la hoya was gonna knock is head off. I am really glad Pac pulled it off now its type for Hatton vs. Pac and if he wins that Pac vs. Mayweather

I was wrong. I thought Pacman would dominte Oscar from round 6 not from round 1. And Picked 11th round KO, not 8th :/

The way he got beaten like never before I agree with you.. Hoya was serious from the get go. Actually I found him very serious on interviews up to the walk in. His training was serious as well...Truth is he just doesnt have it anymore and he kinda knew that. Pac did surprise him with the speed and lateral movement...He even said that you cant compare sparring to the real thing after the fight

BTW I was wrong..but I wanted Pac to win

I thought Oscar would win a close, controversial decision.

I don't really know why, I just didn't thought anything this good could happend... it was a really good surprise and I laughed my way through 8 very memorable rounds. :good

I'll admit, I was nervous about this fight when Pac took it, but as days went on and training camps started, I knew Pac could win and I was believing Roach.. I predicted Pac by decision, but never thought it would have ended like it did.. Pac did get the actual KO, but he beat him down and made him quit on his stool.. Pac is truly a remarkable fighter..

I kept quiet because i didnt want the result biting me in the ass but i was thinking Oscar was gonna win a decision but hoped Manny won because it is better for the sport because now we might be able to see him against Hatton and i hope Mayweather. What i really didnt expect was the domination. I felt bad for Oscar at the end but i realized his time is up now and he aged a lot from the forbes fight to last night. anyway big props to Manny:happy

definately got it wrong. but it dose show you that when you have a special fighter, he can overcome size. pac-man is alot more special then what people orginally thought.

I was wrong on my initial pre fight pick, but while watching the pre fight stuff and I heard about the weight I was , I was expecting DLH to go into the ring the much heavier man, so when I saw that Manny was bigger I was like if Oscar does not catch Pacquiao early he's going to have problems, but that was not even the case as Pacquiao looked the best he ever looked and Oscar looked weight drained but also like a completely shot and old fighter that had no business being in the ring that night.

But all the credit to Manny Pacquiao, cause he did what few fighters in History have ever done............
He broke the curse of Teddy Atlas fight picks
