In my mind, there are two fighters that everyone is going to want Floyd to fight. Either Pac-man or margarito. if he beats either of them, people are going to say he should have fought the other one. so who is the ONE person floyd ought to fight?

Took the words right of my mush. I'd add Williams, but can only envisage a Mayweather v Pacman fight.

He should fight a top tier WW (Margo, Williams, or Cotto) THEN fight Pac...

While PBF is fighting one of the above...Pac should take Hatton...

Then they fight each other at a catch weight of 145...or just fight at 140

Yea I agree...I don't want this bull**** excuse if Pac wins that Mayweather was ring rusted and is past it...

Payweather needs a stepping stone and leverage to get that fight...I think PBF should fight Berto...take his belt...and then challenge Pac to a WW title defense...so if Pac wins...

not only did he beat Floyd, but he's the champ at yet ANOTHER division...

Damn right he better fight him, who gives a **** about Margo now. A Pac/Mayweather fight would be huge, one that would only do good things for boxing.

If the boxing world was righteous, Pacquiao fights Hatton while Mayweather faces the winner of Margarito-Mosley. The two who emerge from those fights victorious fight each other late 2009. But I can only dream...

Pac man ... he has nothing to gain fighting anyone else ... especially considering Pac being the p4p champion.

Margarito, Cotto, or Mosley would just get discredited if he were to face and beat them.

"oh Mosley's too old, past his peak"

"Margarito's too slow and not skilled enough ... why does Floyd keep fighting these bums" or "I knew that Mayweather would beat Margarito"

    "Cotto? ... Cotto?"

Pacman will demolish Hatton. No knock on Hatton, but really Pacman is too good and strong. That will be a 5th round knockout for Pacman. Mayweather is the natural fight for Pacman. Mayweather is fast and not really a natural welterweight really. Just a great fight, although after a year off Mayweather might not be as good as before. If Mayweather of before fought Pacman I think he would win a close decision.

I think that Hatton will make a good fight with Pacquiao because he likes to make the fight rough and on the inside and it would be good to see if Pacquiao can fight on the inside and how he handles a rough fight against someone who's just as imposing as he is.

Don't sleep on Hatton either because he's very fast ... I see Pac winning the fight but I see it close for a few rounds and possibly a re-play of Corrales v Castillo.

Why is it that whenever a boxer wins a big fight, fans demand that Mayweather should fight this winner. Example: Cotto. Margo, Hatton, now Pac-man. Lets all be honest, many people don't want to see Mayweather fight they just want to see him lose. If Mayweather fights Pac-man and beats him people are going to say that it was mismatch to begin with, just like when Mayweather fought Hatton and beat him there was many excuses after the fight (hatton was nothing more than a brawler, bar fighter, slugger, junior welterweight, and was not a skilled fighter). If Mayweather fights Pac-man and beat him, I could see the excuses already (pac-man was too small, he is really a lightweight fighter, blah blah blah). Pac-man is a good fighter, but im not buying into all this Pac-man greatest boxer out there, and he is now a legitimate welterweight and he could take on some of the top welterweights in that division. Mayweather will always be criticize for who he fights, there is always going to be someone out there for Mayweather to fight. Mayweather will outbox and out hustle any other fighter/boxer out there right now in the ring, the ring is the man backyard for god sake. Floyd Mayweather=100% pure raw

I don't want Mayweather to come back and fight. I don't want to fall asleep during anymore of his fights. Mayweather will only stand and fight like a man if he is bigger than his opponent. If he is the smaller guy, he will just tap and run all night. He doesn't have the guts to do what Pacquiao did last night. Mayweather's DLH fight compared to Pac's DLH fight was night and day. I almost fell asleep during the PBF-DLH fight. Yesterday was amazing to watch. Night and day.
