De la Hoya was old before he fought Maywheater, but what the runner did to gave some trouble to de la Hoya ? nothing. He just pop shot all night while Oscar chase after him, Pacquiao was just too brillant all action, and he will defeat Mayrunner whenever they meet.

Everyone Pac fought is shot afterwards... Didn't most of the people including boxing analyst said Pac will loose to Hoya via TKO1 with mercy?

I do not believe this getting old overnight theory, unless a fighter takes a big beating. Usually it does not happen. I remember a lot of people thought Hearns got old overnight after he lost to Barkley in 1988 and then had a hard fight with Kinchen a few months later where he was knocked down. Well he regrouped and became more of a boxer and did well in the rematch with Ray in 1989, and 2 years after that beat Virgil Hill to win the WBA Lightheavyweight title in June of 1991. But that was Hearns. I think Hearns was more versatile than Oscar or Roy and in a way fought more gutsy, which for obvious reasons made him more exciting. People will argue that point I am making, but there is some validity to it.

PBF took the wind out of DLH's sail.

    Forbes made DLH look ordinary.

Pac was DLH's last stand. And judging from the fight and the deflated expressions on DLH's face, DLH's spirit has been broke.

    PBF opened DLH's coffin

Forbes assisted DLH in the coffin

Pacman hammered the last nail on DLH'S coffin

    The End.

I think with Floyd, Floyd was the smaller guy and he fought smaller and that is why he did not stop Oscar. He just wanted to win a decision like he always does. But I think Floyd could have knocked out Oscar had he put his chin on the line more. Pacman fought like the bigger guy and went to bust up Oscar, so in that way you have to respect Pacman for being a warrior. Great fighter. There is no way anyone can really say anything bad about him right now. He is proving he comes to fight and knows what he is doing. Oscar was slipping for a long time though gradually. Great fighter in his prime but not anymore. But still a great win for Pacman. Oscar still would have beaten some decent guys. I wonder how Oscar would have done vs. Mora. Fighters do not go down overnight, it is that other fighters see how that guy lost or a fight where a fighter does not fight as well and they duplicate the style of the guy who won or did well. Must not be too good on a guy mentally if the fight before he was nailed with right hands, and his next opponent just throws right hands. After awhile most guys are figured out and the great fighters try to adjust and change a little.
