Roach has Parkinson's Disease, one of the symptoms being the tendency to shake (tremors):

Roach's illness is believed to be tied to his own professional boxing career.

Roach knows his fighters limitations, And i agree it would be a good fight between Floyd and Manny, for one Manny does not hold, he is effective at what he does, and Floyd is a brilliant counter puncher as soon as he gets your timing down. Roach knows at 147 Floyd is to dangerous for Pac. So what happens? Fight at a catch weight. But i still think Floyd wins this hands down. I like to see how Hatton vs Pac plays out, and the winner of that fights Floyd.

More chances then against mayweather maybe. Still needs to be proved though.

Manny hits harder then Floyd. And you can be sure Hatton will not walk through Manny's punches as he did against Mallignaggi.

We'll see who's the moron :rasta

Ya I hope nothing happens to him anytime soon cause his fighters are awesome. It would be a shame to lose him.

    Amen. :good

He also was the only effective 'villain' figure in the recent 24/7 series, so he can play that role as well. He would be greatly missed, on a variety of levels, if anything were to happen to him prematurely.

Not so sure.....I'd favor Floyd as well but PAC has a real chance at winning. I thought PAC bit off more than he could chew against DLH.....How wrong was I, BUT...I was hoping to be wrong. PAC put on an outstanding preformance and I'm happy to eat my crow.

But PAC can beat Floyd at 140 or 147. The problem is FLoyd is extremely skilled and very tatical. THat alone will give Pac problems. For FLoyd...the problem is PAC is just as fast, more powerful and more skilled than he thinks. I feel the fight is a toss up but skills pay the bills and there is no one more skilled than Floyd. So I'd go with a split decision or a majority decision for Floyd at 147.....at 140 I say Pac would win by KO or Decision.

Roach will be fine for a least a couple of years.
He's in great shape for someone with his condition and he keeps at working out and living healthy now. I'm not worried.

    As for Pac vs. Floyd
It will happen. Probably at a catch weight of 142 or 143 or even at jr.welter
Floyd weighs in on fight night at 148 and Pacquiao at 148

In the long run it really won't matter
I think that Floyd ould make 140 pretty easily as well.
He walks around at around 151.

Manny would show PBF for what he really is, a complete fraud. Hatton would be beaten to death within 5 rounds. Margarito is too big, too strong.

Roach would and should probably do the following...

See if Pac could win against Hatton, then its the only way they would go straight at PBF.

PBF holds 2 things that Pac has 1 atm.

    PBF SD WIN AGAINST HOYA
    PBF KO WIN AGAINST HATTON

    while Pac has

    MP KO WIN AGAINST HOYA
    ???? HATTON

If Pac could go pass Hatton which is another mountain to climb, then he would be facing the pot of gold of boxing. The previous Pound for Pound King. The match who can tell who is the real king of boxing.

if you think hatton would duck a fight with manny, you don't know hatton. and i think it's a 50:50 fight. hatton's not a shot oscar, he'll be moving and throwing.

Hatton has a better shot now that he's working with Floyd Sr....with out Floyd Hatton IMO didn't have a shot. I'm still going with PAC by Decision or late Round KO/Stoppage (cuts) if the fight were to happen.

Roach is indeed a smart man. But who knows.
