True, but the fact is they did quit.

People seem want to take it harshly that Im saying they quit.

The man even admitted himself that he quit. Im not bashing his choice.

If he does it again, I would bash him because this is boxing, you take these risk on purpose..

Margo was an absolute beast that night. He would have made many a boxer quit or unconscious. Cotto was lucky to be able to call it a night.

I paid the $55 bucks to watch ODLH get beat into submission. It probably would have been easier for him to go get beat until someone else stops the fight than to have to "quit" on the stool. He had had enough and wants to be able to raise his children. Hope he stays out of the ring.

I was more impressed with Manny's clinic than Oscar's "quitting".

The thought of calling Cotto or Oscar a quitter is just silly to me and prompted me to my first post.

He did quit for good reason.

I doubt he'll do it again.

Vitali only quit with an injury. Fighters like Cotto and DLH had no injury. They flat out quit.

Holyfield suffered the same injury against Byrd and carried on fighting despite being behind on the card by a large margin difference between an athlete and a warrior.

De La Hoya was forced into quitting against Pacquiao. He never surrendered off his own accord. Bernstain was clearly forcing him to quit. It wasn't like the corner said "Can you continue" they wanted him to quit and clearly encouraged him to do so.

No, he was asked if he wanted to continue. He did not reply. That to me is the same as saying "NO".

With that said I rather see a fighter quit then take unnecessary damage.

Why don't you take those punches for him Rico?
