If Charles, Patterson, Witherpsoon, and Moorer all fought each other once, who would end up with the best record?

I think that Charles, Patterson and Witherspoon would all make for very live matches against one another, and that Moorer would be an underdog against all three. I'm not sure one guy comes up with a "best" record here; for example, if Charles, Patterson and Witherspoon all beat Moorer and split the encounters between themselves ala paper-scissors-rock, then we could have a three-way tie with all of them going 2-1.

Terrible Tim should sweep the board, but I could see him beating Charles, then blowing the Patterson and Moorer fights though disinterest.

Patterson/Charles is pick-em, I think Patterson would edge it; Charles easily beats Moorer, then Patterson outpoints Moorer.

So I have Patterson sweeping it, with Moorer, Charles and Whitherspoon taking one each of each other.

Ezzard Charles beats them all first time.

I'd pick Witherspoon over Moorer and Patterson.

    I'd pick Patterson over Moorer.

    Charles 3-0
    Witherspoon 2-1
    Patterson 1-2
    Moorer 0-3

    that's my best guess

I'll ring in. I think all the fighters listed could defeat each other. Witherpsoon to me was the most durable by far, and had the best defense. He was also the biggest, and was up there in power.

I'm not sure if Witherpsoon could pull off a 3-0 sweep here, but I do fancy him to go 2-1.

At first, I thought Moorer might win the least of the bunch, but he is a talented southpaw. I'm not sure if the other guys fought talented southpaws.

And Moorer was extremely accurate. Especially when he was in top shape and was light. That pinpoint accuracy is going to win a decision over somebody. By the same token, one of those guys will solve him and he definately isn't beating all 3.

Nor is the up and down Witherspoon who just didn't get the A+ results when he faced top level competition.
