I thought Taylor looked great against Lacy. He has clearly learned from the Hopkins fights.

Taylor looked really good to me at 168.

I am not a Taylor fan, but I think he beats everyone currently at 168.

I completely agree. I think he will have a sizable speed advantage on most people at 168, and I do not think he will lose any power.

Taylor could be a complete beast at 168.

    Taylor pts.

Its tough for Froch though because if he wins, he devalues his win. A fighter who loses to Pavlik, and Froch can't be that great.

You are basing that on a win against Lacy who is completely ruined since Calzaghe gave his ass a beating. He was probably overrated to go with that aswell. If he was a beast at this weight he might have signed to fight Froch in the first place instead of getting his trainer to act like they'd never heard of the guy!!****in coward!

You might be right, but my eyes told me Taylor looked good at 168...much better than at 160.

Respect to Froch for fearlessly pursuing his dream and the rougher challenges. Taylor by late stoppage.

You know all this Poster Boy HBO **** and bad comments about Taylor is really getting old.Who the Hell is the Froch Character and why are some of you people is hyping up this clown that hasn't fought nobody. Taylor fought Wright, Pavlik (2X), B Hop (2X), Lacy, Spinks and etc but I guess thats not good enough and aperson that hasn't fought nobody is suppose to kick Taylor ass. Give the guy for some credit for at least wanting to fight best they have to offer.

The funny thing is, if/when Taylor beats Froch, the same people still won't give him any credit and pass it off as him beating an unproven Euro bum.

The real joke is that Froch is a year older than Taylor, and when Taylor was winning his belt against Bernard Hopkins, Froch was beating clubfighter Matthew Barney on points.

Froch KO.....Taylor got Knocked out by Pavlik, and dropped by Lacy

no way in hell he'll go the distance with Froch who is better then both and hits harder then both

Pavlik KO'd Taylor and afterwards Taylor still claimed Lacy was the hardest hitting guy he knew.

And he wasn't "dropped by Lacy", he was off balance before the punch, which didn't even land flush, got near him. Watch the replay. It looks like he was trying to backpeddle to get off the ropes and just overshot his center of gravity.

Regardless, Froch couldn't KD much less KO a chinny Pascal who kept his hands low.

Froch's power won't matter anyway; he'll have trouble getting off when he's getting pelted with jabs because he blocks punches with his face.
