Does he know the meaning of the word. But this "boxing is a dying sport, too many sanctioning bodies etc etc" has really ****ed me off.

He made enough money and pissed off a lot of people by defending his WBO long enough then goes to the States in his mid-thirties to cement his legacy by fighting for a non-recognised title!

I'm a Calzaghe fan but his comments about the sport that earned him millions and a lot of fans, and his comments about Froch left a shitty taste in the mouth.

Calzaghe has proved to me in the last couple of years he bluffs to suit his own agenda..............in other words he is full of ****

    Good fighter..........without question.

But the bull**** he spouted about Roy Jones fight said it for me

If you gonna fight a shot fighter for one last payday for you both..........ok do it

But save us the bull**** that Roy Jones is this and that.......completly contrasting the shot fighter you said he was in your book a couple of years before

A points decsion over ****ing Anthony Hanshaw hardly proved Roy was back on the top of the boxing world

I don't want to start a tired debate but Calzaghe should've went to the states in the 90s and I doubt that fish eyes Warren never offered him the shot. End.

Joe is right though. there are too many sanctioning bodies, I dont even consider the WBC etc world titles anymore, The ring belts are all that matter

He is right, but he has made a great living making the most of this sanctioning bodies mess. And the fact that he is shitting on the sport that has given him everything is really in poor taste. Great boxer, but a grade A arsehole.

its really ****ed me off too, has he suddenly forgotten about his fans that still love boxing, we know from his comments he doesnt love it anymore
since he chose to fight jones i was pissed off but look its his job and he wants to make sure his family is secure so i gave him the benefit,
his comment that "he is glad to be getting out of boxing now as its on the downward spiral" is the one that really got to me, part of me thinks he is pissed off pac dela hoya annihalated his ppv numbers

any more shitty comments or dumb fights against **** opposition and im flogging off the jc memoribilia i have on the cheap

Which makes Joe's long reign with the WBO and continual attempts during that time to pass both it and himself as a legit champion even more laughable.

The WBO is generally seen as a legitimate boxing org these days.
That certainly was not the case for much of Joe's time with it.

I've always thought it was ironic that Joe won Sports Personality of the year last year.
