Nobody is asking you to care about a damn thing lol. Nobody has issues lol. You wrote some sorry ****, and I'm calling you on it. This was a SD loss, and you wrote some assinine post lol. Most posters-black and white are calling for a rematch, and you talked about "If Cunningham wanted to keep his title"...lol:nut What the heck is dat about...!!!??? lol:lol: I didn't even read all of the above lol. I read the first and last sentence and that's it. When a poster states that a poster is upset...it cracks me up lol... We want to see a rematch, that's all. Anyway, what white guy lost to a white guy? Whatfightchutalkinabout...Mr?

Adamek is a ko waiting to happen. He is Golota with better whiskers. He can't box a lick. I wish him well, but he won't be champion long.

Pummler I like you..but clearly you are confused between getting stunned and getting hurt. If he was hurt he would have layed there for a few seconds before (getting the tweetie birds to stop flying in circles)getting up. He clearly popped rigth back up with some pep with a disbelief in his mind and facial expression. It wasn't his night it wasn't meant to be I guess. In NO way did Adamek dominate this fight. The control of the fight leaned more towards Cunningham. That's why everyone is screaming rematch!;)

There is no way Adamek is a ko waiting to happen. That dude has a CRAZY chin! Not a really good boxer. Just a guy with a iron chin and is a power puncher....but it works for him!

theres no one else at cruiserweight, only these 2 guys are the cream of the crop of the division

    The fight was so exciting

I cant see why anyone wouldnt want to see a rematch unless you are an Adamek fan and fear he will lost the 2nd time around.

It's done, dude. You're a non-entity, you tried to get me into a flame war in the past you couldn't possibly win, and now you seem to want to get me to rhetorically smack you down again. I did, but I can't waste any more time on you and your feeble and childish attempts at race baiting. Keep working on what is your sorry 'game,' and check back with me when you're ready...like in a few years.

Cunningham got beat and then his team took the wrong tact after the fight, pretending they had leverage when they do not. What you think means nothing. Steve is heading to the back of the line like the rest, and looking to rebuild after a fight which saw him on the canvas three times and in which he was taken totally out of his fight plan. That's it. I'm sorry if you like him and/or picked him, it's over.

Should champion Adamek decide to grant the vanquished Cunningham either an immediate rematch or a return bout down the line is entirely up to him. He won the fight, and the champion pretty much gets to call the shots, regardless of hangers-on making spectacles of themselves at post-fight press conferences.

Adamek knows the deal. After he lost to Dawson, he was dissed and had to go build himself back up. Now it's Cunningham's turn, and it will be someone else's turn soon enough. This is how it works for pretty much everyone not named Oscar De La Hoya or any other big draws.

This thread is about a rematch. Every last posters here has picked a boxer who lost so what are you even talking about? You can't be talking about any smack down when all you did was correct a word I misspelled...which I've spelled correct on this forum a gazillion times:nut . If this is personal to you, I don't give a ****. Fans want to see a rematch period..it was that good a fight. Now you can root for any fighter you like...black, white etc I don't care, but Cunningham deserves an immediate rematch, and the fans want to see an immediate rematch. What you are posting is so off the wall...it is too stpuid to respond to in its entirety. Cunningham going to the back of the line? lol... He lost a SD. Dawson dominated Adamek, Adamek didn't dominate Steve.

Exactly. I agree with this post, and agree with Boom, and I have no respect for Boom at all. Not an ounce of respect for the goon, but he is right in this case lol...

    Let me just say this:
    This content is protected
. I have no hate towards him (seems like a nice man and he's built like a lean truck) whatsoever.

As is usually the case in these situations, the people around the fighter (or other athlete) end up making the athlete look worse than he should. If guys in Cunningham's circle are yelling "Rematch! Rematch!" while Adamek is doing a post-fight press conference address then that ends up making Steve look bad and also isn't likely to help make Team Adamek want to do business with Team Cunningham anytime soon. That's the point of what I've said so far. You lost the fight, have a little dignity and respect and realize you're not in a very strong negotiating position and it could get a lot worse if you keep doing stupid stuff like acting like you won the bout.

This is why I brought up Hopkins and Calzaghe. Look, we all know Joe doesn't like to do rematches, but BHop (whom I love) hasn't necessarily done anything to help himself out in terms of getting Joe back in the ring. If you cry and whine after you lose or pretend you won when you clearly lost, there's a real chance that the other team will just say "Eff him" and go out of their way not to work with you again (as we all know, this happens all the time between promoters and also between promoters and certain fighters). There's no reason why Steve and his people need to go down this road, IMO, and I hope that they don't. That doesn't mean that things such as starting a thread such as this is a bad idea, it's not. This is a good way to stir up interest in a rematch.

Promoting fights and working marketing angles isn't an exact science. Sometimes by acting like a punk, as Tarver did with Roy Jones, you get what you want. Other times, it ends up backfiring as has been the case so far with Hopkins after the Calzaghe loss. Tomasz and his team don't seem particularly keen on the whole trash-talking, lean-on-them version of negotiations. Given that this appears to be the case, having a bit more respect towards the new champ might work out a little bit better for Team Cunningham if they are looking to get an immediate rematch.

When I found out that Adamek went from 174 pounds in the Dawson fight to 197.75 in his next bout just 4 months later, I knew something was up. This helps to put things into perspective. Dawson won the fight and likely would beat Adamek under most, if not all, circumstances, but this weight fluctuation thing was odd.

Just to clarify for all the Dawson fans, it's not Chad's fault that Adamek took the fight and decided to drain himself for the bout so I'm not taking anything away from CD's win. You can only fight the guy who you sign with and who shows up, and that's what Chad did. He won, and deserved to win.

Thanks for the info. You really know your stuff and your input is appreciated. Keep up the good work. :good

These boards are about opinions right? Well go back and read my posts. NEVER did I once say anything about his previous fights. So get your glasses out and read. IMO Cunn was more busy with the punches then Adamek. Plain and simple. He threw 690 punches compared to 400 and something?? I know Adamek % was higher so what. All I am stating is that USS came out to bang and make it exciting and IMO he was more that fight. Yea friend/fan so what....just stating the facts. If they are different from yours then your entitled to that. Don't come in here and all of the sudden start saying crap like cunn *****. Thread was started to see different views that's all. Now go back and drink another 40 and stop trolling.
