    why should this thread be deleted? people jump all over rocky marciano for fighting old guys in his title reign, but at leas they were old greats, not in-greats.

    i have to know if you have grasped that Wlad is a boxer, the promoters and the TV companies have had to find a replacement because cancelling the event is not an option....

    chill out. Theres not a whole lot of great comp in the division and he's doing what the champ should be doing with sub par comp. He's blowing them out of the water.

    Pac's last 4 fights have been with opponents of an average 33.5 y.o.
    Dawson's last four about 37 y.o.!

    In fact, Rahman's last four fights at the time when he rematched Lewis were against an average of 36 y.o.!!! And in the very next fight Rahman took on 40 y.o. Evander Holyfield.
