Haye is certainly taking quite a leap from Barrrett to Vitali.

I wonder what Gomez is going to do, now? I thought it was mandated for Vitali that he HAS to fight Gomez, right away, as part fo the stipulation of his getting to fight Peter right out of retirement.

What is the deal there? I thought Suliaman and the WBC were very stern in Gomez getting a fight right away.

Much respect to Haye for taking the fight but Vitali is going to hurt him ..

If he wins he certainly brings excitement for the division !

    Im glad this was made.

Haye has no chance against Vitali IMO,Vitali is to tough, and busy for Haye.Haye would have a better chance against Wlad even though Wlads skills are better than Vitalis,he can stutter a bit when pressured, but he has not much a chance against Wlad either,to big,to strong to good.

He was getting the balls beat out of him and IMO if the fight continued any longer there would have been a highlight reel KO.

Chin this chin that! Who knows Haye's chin better than Haye? Some keyboard warriors hiding behind their endless shower of emoticons? No. Haye knows if he can take a punch or not and he's the one who signed the deal. Have you been punched? Did you need reassurance from other people about your punch resistance? Or were you confident in your ability to make your own mind up.

He got knocked down by a man who had fought at SMW, yes. But Pacquiao got knocked out properly at Bantamweight. Where's the 'china chin' brigade now?

i think haye himself once admitted that he does'nt take a punch that good, and has worked around this by adapting his style. pac got ko'ed at fly weight.

    Flyweight, yes you're right.

you don't agree to fight VK if you don't rate your own chin. He's not exactly adapted his style into one where he gets hit less.

It looks like Haye is going to have a short stay at HW.

I still believe Haye wanted an immeditate title shot before he got KO'd at HW. Haye expected to fight one chump & talk trash to get a title shot, and it worked.

Fight Vlad would have been better. Vitali fought Lennox and took that, so what is Haye going to do? Haye will be stopped in a few rounds.

This is going to be embarrassing for Haye. He should have never picked this fight.

So what if he gets beaten up? Obviously it won't be good for his career, but right now Haye embodies everything that this sport is missing. He knows he isn't the most resilient fighter and he is going to step in the ring with the best head to head heavyweight of the last few years. That takes balls.

If more people were like David Haye boxing would not be so dull right now.

Great, Haye's showing a lot of courage behind all the talk accepting this fight. Vitali's still going to embarass him in front of his home crowd though.
