Where's all the Kelly Pavlik hype?

    Now that your boy took a loss, no one wants to be n his nuts anymore. I remember getting involved in debates about him hsving a chance against guys like Hearns & Hagler, now I can't even pay someone to talk about him! See, thats why I love it when a popular fighter loses, because all the bandwagon fans & overrating of C Level fighters goes away.

    Dang, it took like 5 minutes to even get a response. Calzaghe's haters are more loyal than Pavlik fans.

    Because he lost a fight he was suppose to win and had nothing to gain from that fight besides fighting a name anyhow. But he is hardly a C fighter and will comeback better.

    Thats funny you say he had nothing to gain, he had nothing to gain if he beat Hopkins but fans on this site were going crazy when he beat Gary "Rocket" Locket!

    Why don't you like Pavlik? Is it a race thing?

    I don't understand how a fan of this sport cannot appreciate a fighter like him. Please name one boring fight he has had in the last few years. On top of that the guy is not an arrogant ***** and does a lot of good outside the ring. He is not all about money like some other fighters out there, but yet you seem to really dislike him. Care to explain?

    He would get destroyed by Hagler. Anyway, he does have a future in the sport and will be one of the top middleweights still. He just got beat by a crafty vet at a weight he was not use to.

    Think the Hype is smeared fairly evenly across Old Popkin's gloves. C level. FFS!!! Ridiculous people. He is A level along with the rest of the top 10 or so in the division. For crying out loud

    So quick to jump to conclusion. Pavlik is an okay guy in my book. As a "fighter", he's good, but as a "boxer", he's nothing special. But I can tell he's one of those real cool dudes outside the ring. And as far as a "boring" fight, if you ask me(someone who likes boxers & thinks of boxing as an art) Pavlik vs Locket was BORING!

    I know PBF is your boy, but in all honesty ..... take a look at how bad some of his fights have been in the past... how boring,


    Then watch Pavlik vs Miranda, Pavlik vs Taylor I , hell even Pavlik vs Zertuche is a more exciting war than almost any of PBF's fights

    Not Too many "c" fighters have ktfo JT and then beat him again for good measure to proove it wasn't a fluke.

    Not all of Kelly's fights are boring. And PBF vs Gatti was a comedy session for me. But exciting fighters dont make greats.

    i dont usually agree with this guy but he's right ...it's like a ****ing ghost town ..the kelly pav fan side of the room ..there aint **** over there now but a few cobwebs and some old dusty abc belts ..no real substance
