I think it would be a nice fight.. and the winner would maybe be deserving of a title shot.

I think the winner would be deserving of a burger king voucher.

    Toney would win.
Arreola don’t have stamina to go twelve rounds with Toney.

    Won’t happen thou.
Toney is one of Arreollas idols and he don’t want to fight against him.

I want to see Toney-Tony Thompson next. A stiff test for Toney, he has to finally lose weight and get in good shape or he would lose that one. If he can't beat Tony Thompson anymore he should hang em up.

Toney wouldn't take the green Chris Areola serious enough, show up out of shape again and end up with a close decision once more against an opponent who he should outbox easily.

    That explains a ****ing lot.

"One day daddy, I want to be like James Toney"

"I know son, that's why you have to finish both your dinners"

I agree that Toney would certainly show up out of shape like he did for Oquendo. The reason is that Toney used to school Qurolea at the Wild Card Gym.

We need Toney - Thompson, with Toney between 220-226.

I'm a huge fan of Toney, but he should retire now. His vast skills give the illusion that he has something left in the tank, but he has been on the slide since fighting Sam Peter. He is a great no doubt, but at 40, I don't see a remarkable career comback ala Toney v Jirov. He should take the gift he got against Oquendo and ride off into Canastota. I've noticed that since Toney v Peter I, JT tends to square up ALOT when advancing and retreating which leaves him wide open to eat jabs and straights without being able to counter effectively. I think this is largely due to deminishing reflexes and equilibrium. Granted, if he trained harder he could look a bit better, but training doesn't reverse these effects. He seems to have to square up now in order to set himself in a counter position instead of being able to just switch immediately like he used to do. This is not a good sign for his future, especially if he gets a shot against a Klitchko. Mark my words, if he fights a Klitchko he will be stopped becuase of this.:!:
