Erm maybe because we are not cretins and have seen fighters reach the top without great chins.

    Explain Tommy Hearns for me.

Nothing is 100%. Hearns was a freak of an athlete. For every Tommy Hearns there are 100 Tommy Morrison's.

Hearns was by far an exception and not the rule.

Either way as Zak said earlier I don't care what people on an internet forum think. I am here for my enjoyment and nothing makes me laugh more than to see a Glass Jawed fighter get exposed especially one that has a big mouth like David Haye.

Ah look, Rico Spadafora, the guy who confidently predicted that Manny Pacquiao would have a glass jaw at 147lbs and that DLH by brutal ko was a formality.

You wouldn't have thought it was a hard job to keep your arguments consistent when you only ever post on one subject, but Zakman still manages to contradict himself.

That's not the point, you said that jaw was the making or breaking of a fighter. Patterson was a World Heavyweight Champion with a poor chin and yes he never managed to beat Liston or Ali but he had a hugely successful career as a heavy when he was also fairly small for the weight.

RJJ? Not exactly a granite jaw.

The fact is that many of the guys you two idiots call glass are just average or below average but not total glass. Amir Khan is glass, Audley is glass. But once again Zakman acts like he called it, when every **** in Britain knew it LONG before him because we saw them earlier in their careers and saw them hurt by nothing punches well before Zakman did.

All he does is make pathetic predictions. You recently called Cunningham total glass, when the guy got up from his KDs against a good puncher and finished the fight.
You act like nobody can succeed with a slightly shaky chin, but look at Arlovski in MMA.

Zakman would do better to try watching other aspects of the game so that he is less prone to embarrassing predictions like Paulie by wide UD over Hatton.

But then if you only ever focus on one aspect of boxing you will never be a very reliable source for judging fighters. He has stated that Haye would be KOd COLD by the first genuine heavy he faced, well Barrett is a genuine heavy.

Then he switched to top ten heavy but refused to name his top 10. He just repeats over and over until he gets one right and then acts like a guru. It is beyond lame.

I agree that Haye gets starched by Vitali, but that doesn't mean he couldn't win a world title against one of the other champions.

Is there any need to use CAPITALS when spelling the words glass jaw?

Haye still has a puncher's chance.

I have always said Haye has 2 of the things needed to beat either Klitschko which are speed and power. I just don't know how his Glass Jaw will hold up.

What if he gives old VITLAY a good hard slappy punch in the shoulder like that monster hitter Chris Byrd did :think

So-called iron chinned VITLAY doesn't handle adversity too well either, in case you hadn't noticed.

Still waiting for you to provide lnks to where you ate crow after getting the Rahman fight wrong, incidentally. Not to mention the Barrett/Haye fight.

Yeah, I wish Haye would take another fight at Heavyweight before fighting either of the Klitschko's. Haye better hope Vitali gets very very old by June. lol

    Why?

I think Haye doesn't have a chance against Vitali, and will be splattered in about six. But that doesn't make him chinny.

Frank Bruno was KO'd five times, but was he glass jawed?

He would have a puncher's chance against Wlad, but not Vitali - he will laugh at Haye's punches. They would KO most heavies, but he will see them as pitty patty.

Or the Hatton-Paulie fight where he said it would be any easy and wide UD for Paulie.
Or the Lacy-Taylor fight where he predicted that Lacy would KO Taylor because Taylor had a "GLASS JAW".
