again that was your idea *****, again you have no idea if cotto is stronger then floyd and as I said before it would be foolish to assume so .
No it really wouldnt when you look at their common opponents floyd went the distance with them Cotto battard them and stopped them. You can easily look at that and assume that Cotto is stronger, I mean you have evidence right there.
No not really , Floyd boxing style and skill , allows for him not to have to resort using bull strength. Your a boxing coach Im surprised you have not seen this in most of the kid you coach. A fighters fighting style or punching power is not a indication on how physically strong a fighter is. some fighter are just really confident in they're ability to punch that move behind there punches , other fighter prefer to box and use other aspect of there skill rather then rely on brute strength . again this should not be discussion about floyd and margarito but floyd and cotto.
and Like I said based on their performances its safe to assume Cotto is the stronger of the two, why? simply becuase Cotto has tested himself in that area to prove it. What happens when Floyd is in a tough fight and is forced to fight, can Floyd sit down on his shots and trade toe to toe when it comes down to it and pull off a win? His performances to date havent proved that he can, so its either A he doesnt have it like that or B he is too much of a coward to test himself in those areas.
if he strong enough on the inside he wont have to , he can simple tie his man up .. again were talking about physical strength not punching power . Hopkins did not punch as hard as Tito but he was able utilize his supirior strength in other areas to move tito around the ring and into position were he could hit tito maul him and tire him out. again Hopkins physical strength made tito punching power ineffective , the same way margarita did against cotto buy making cotto fight off his back foot, cotto punches did not have the same pop.
Please Cottos shots did have the same pop, he was just in there with a man that could take them for 12 rounds.
:rofl Why, oh why the **** couldn't you just finish the post after saying Floyd is faster? Why did you have to go through a long speech on why you think he'll beat Floyd, when that's completely irrelevant in this thread?
when your moving and punching , your punches do not have the same effect , because your not pulling the same leverage from the floor.
I defitnely co-sign this. Floyd has always had enough pop in his punches to keep his opponents honest but against Margarito he won't have that privalege.
why will it not be decided with speed...PBF is WAY faster with his hands and feet and will not slug with tony...so PBF wins
