Personally I believe Haye Vs Vitali is what the Heavyweight division needs to shape up. This is a solid matchup and I am giving in to the Haye express more everyday. Ofcourse this is a Euro matchup so I want to know where do my fellow Americans stand: Haye or Vitali?

On the side of a competitive, thrilling fight. I have no vested interest in either guy winning.

I am rooting for Haye for being a ballsy guy.
My head tells me Vitali will dominate him.

This bout will light up the division for the 3 rounds it takes Vitali to knock Haye out.

Then we're back to the old mess

    Is it really a mess?

It is for America, but not eastern Europe.

The Heavyweight division is hella lame with the two Klits as the number 1 and 2 guys. I really hope Haye knocks Vitali the heck out. We really need exciting new blood at HW.

Wlad also lost a lot of respect from me with his special jab/slap in the Ibragimov fight so I hope to see him fall as well.

Vitali by KO. I will root for this result cuz I will likely bet that way. Not because I am a Vitali fan but because I think that it will occur.

Well if Haye wins, he would more than likely face Vlad which would definitely rejuvenate what has been otherwise a lackluster heavyweight division.

A Vitali victory does nothing in the grand scheme of things for the heavyweight division.

For non biased fans with no personal investment in either fighter, the answer should be obvious

I don't know how many Eastern Euros are truly enjoying the scene right now outside of just the mere claim of having fighters at the very top of it. The US ruled boxing in the 1980's, but that didn't make it a great division, nor any great joy for American fans. Valuev, Chagaev and W, Klitschko are about as dull to watch as old people ****ing, and none of them have really attempted to unify except for Wlad taking Ibragimov's WBO title ( again, see old people ****ing ). And, Vitali is no savior.

Furthermore, there are more 35+ fighters ruling the division now than ever before, and its not like we're looking at any George Foreman's here. These guys are mediocre.. The division needs men like David Haye and Alexander Povetkin to really step it up if we're going to have anything decent to watch in the near future.

No. you're buying into the hype that is the haye express. This isn't a solid match-up. It will be competitve for about 3 rds max. When haye's best attempts to hurt vitaly fail the look of :yikes will come over davie boy's face
while vitaly puts a calculated career ending beating on him.
Then you'll just be another ignorant easily manipulated fanboy eating a big ass plate of crow.
