I dont see any reason why Enzo should be held back from anyone now

He has already fought the most dangerous big puncher in the division

And OK he made a mistake and got knocked out

But there is no pressure of remaining undefeated now.........as his other loss was years ago and he became techincally undefeated again :roflDatsch

Anyway Enzo has been in with Haye.........so why old him back anymore

And who is he going to be scared of when he just beat Adamek? Doesn't really add up. Just the usual negativity.

 

Gees, I can not believe how many people fancy Macca to win. He is a fringe top 10 cruiser, whilst Adameck is a clear number one. Adameck has an iron chin, whilst Macca's is pretty weak. Adameck has beated O'Neil Bell, who is as big of a puncher as Macca. Adameck defeated far better opposition. If Macca wasnt British, he would be called an exposed Eurobum on these boards.

 

ive never rated macca the boxer so i think he may have a punchers chance.

 

Adamek is certainly a good puncher - as seen when he dropped Bell early on, and Cuningham three times - and he has good handspeed for a cruiserweight and good accuracy.

I certainly class David Haye as an "A" puncher at cruiserweight.

I don't think he could finish Dawson, due to weight drain, Dawson's southpaw stance making him harder to hit, and Dawson's determination. Also, i think the loss may have been the best thing to happen to Adamek. He has become more of a boxer, and has done better v quality boxers since (Cunningham, very similar to Dawson alebit in the orthodox stance).

 

Bell was a protected fighter with some gift decisions and he quit.

 

Enzo Macaroni is a guy who fights late subs, journeyman,clubfighters and if we're lucky, British champions.

He throws some nice short punches, jabs well from outside, but who gives a **** how good he looks on a punchbag as indicator of Mac's talent and Enzo Cal's genius?

Bell isn't the most gifted of fighters but he has knocked out Jean Marc Mormeck, Kelvin Davis, Arthur Williams twice (when Williams was still dangerous), Ezra Sellers, Sebastian Rothmann. In the loss to Mormeck, Bell only just lost, in France. He is a former IBF champ and while that win was disputed, he went on to be undisputed champ. Bell has been in numerous classics, has had many fights where the opponent actually hits back. Bell was totally outlcassed by Adamek, but his resume pisses all over Enzo Mac's.

 

I think Enzo would give Adamek a few problems due to Adamek mostly defending punches with his chin, but when he starts to land a few punches then Enzo will be in trouble. Adamek KO

 

It would be interesting with the size difference. Would Enzo be confident, being the bigger man? Is this bigger man issue redundant, if Adamek was always a very big light heavy who suffered weight drain, and if Macca says he can make 175? Would Enzo's reach be a big factor, or Adamek's speed, which is impressive at cruiserweight?

I'd like to see it happen to see a Brit fight for a real world title. It seems Adamek doesn't see the mandatory Flores as a tatsy one. And he doesn't seem too keen on a Cunningham rematch - not yet - which is fine given what he's just put into that fight.

There is a lot of gain for Enzo. Let's see if a big tasty offer comes in for Adamek. There is obviously money in Britain for cruiserweight fights. Don't reckon Mac would go for it in, say, Chicago - not when he can get an easy world title vs Banks. Reckon it might take some hard work from Mr Warren over the next half year.
