Which Klitschko Brother Hits Harder?

I think he knocked out fat version of Kirk with one shot, although I do not remember if it was Kirk who wasn't able to get up or the referee who stopped the fight anyway.

Still, I would go with Wlad as the harder puncher, the problem is that lately he is safety-first fighter and he needs few rounds to throw anything other than jab.

But i agree, most of his punches are to the head; probably because of he likes to work on the outside and use his reach advantage.


On the topic: i think Wlad by far has more one-punch power, but is a lot less aggressive and sometimes seems to choose speed over power (i.e., during a large part of the Thompson fight), while Vitali wears you down with heavy fists at a high workrate.

Wlad ranks up there with best. Lennox is sure impressed witth his power.
Unfortunately, his right hasn't found the mark recently-lucky for Hasim, because he was about to be knocked comatose, before the ref. stepped in.
Funny, but Vitali probably would have Hasim out of there sooner due to the accumalative nature of his punches.

 

Wlad hits harder, and he has always hit harder. Vitali does have a lot of power though.

 

Wladimir has more 1 shot power when he wants it.
On the other hand every shot Vitali throws has bad intentions behind it.

Vitali has this clubbing and chopping effect on people hence outside of a Hoffman all his victories were stoppages.
I think over the course of a full fight Vitali hits consistently harder, but Wladimir can get you out of there with a single shot.

That is actually very untrue. Wlad puts more power into each shot than Vitali does. Vitali throws about 90% arm punches, and only really puts heat on his punches in very few circumstances.

 

I would disagree how else would you explain Vitali's KO% ?
Some of their common opponents even stated Vitali just wears you out.

Even his arm punches have pop behind them which was clear to see vs Peter, Wladimir throws way more jabs + rangefinders.

They both have great power though and i do think Wladimir hits the hardest when he wants too.
I am fine with it if you think Wladimir hits the hardest per shot thrown though, i respect your opinion and i admit i could be well wrong.

 

Vitali is Tougher than wlad

Vitali has avenged wlads loss,

he also stopped Peter which Wlad didnt do..

Wlad hits harder, and is physically stronger and more fluid, athletic..

Vitali- has better stamina, chin and mental makeup, so all around they are pretty even..

If they were to fight it would be 50-50 toss up, Wlad being 6yrs younger, is the wild card..

But we'll never know..

 

Wladimir hits harder but Vitali is harder to beat.
