I have noticed that the current reigning IBF Welterweight Champion Joshua Clottey has not fought since winning a 9th round unanimous technical decision against Zab Judah on Aug 2 for the vacant welterweight title which he now holds. Why hasn't Clottey not fought anyone as of late? Well, he has called out the then WBO Welterweight Champ and now the Interim WBO Jr Middleweight Champion Paul Williams. However, nothing has materia;ized for Clottey. There is a vacant WBO weltereweight title fight between Cotto and Jennings on Feb 21, a WBA welterweight title fight between Margarito and Mosley on Jan 24, and a WBC welterweight title fight between Berto and Collazo on Jan 17. All other champions have already arranged upcoming fights but none yet are set for Clottey.

I seen an interview where he says he isnt being promoted properly for what reasons im unsure, he's a very good fighter though I would give him at least a 50 per cent chance against any of the top fighters at welterweight. Cotto will be too good for Jennings no dout but how good is this berto I havent seen him fight before.

he was looking to fight margo but for some reason that didnt come off.
so he looked for paul williams but paul is shitting over the wieght divisions.
and cintron was looking to fight at 154.

he is a great fighter with a defence thats so invasive and pressuring that peeps just fall apart but he isnt really flashy and his only major wins are judah and corrales....even tho i think all of us here know he is much better than representedive of those 2 wins.

the people he has now are alverez and rodriguez.
also bonsu i heard will be in high contention in all body's if he beat baldomir.

He beat Judah for the title.. but after that.. uhm

Arum doesn't give a **** about him too much. Pays most of his attention to Margo and Cotto for the WW division.

While Arum was securing a vacated title for clottey and looking for his best interest... Clottey did an interview saying he hasn't spoken to Arum in nearly 7 months.. Lol.

As Hlatswayo and Rodriguez had a draw and most likely will fight again,Cintron(the no 2 contender) will probably get his shot.

    That's the motha****in truth!

Clottey isn't part of Arum's money train, because he doesn't have the blind support of Mexicans or Ricans like Margo and Cotto have. SO he isn't going to get the same attention from Arum. Too bad. He would beat both of those guys.
