I know he has a huge right hand, but after watching a few fights of his on youtube and the maccinerlli and mormeck fight, he really doesnt have a chance against klitscko. He landed a missile on the face of enzo in that second round and he walked through it. Did you guys see the punches that dropped haye? Those made bruce seldon look like oliver mccall. I like Haye, but like Omar little says, you come at the king you best not miss. Haye will miss and get embarrassed. I think even if Haye lands a few huge shots, I think Vitali walks through. I like Haye, he is what the sport needs, but he is going to get his head knocked in.
Unfortunatley for Haye hes been talking **** for a long time now and has to back it up otherwise if he loses he will look like a real fool
true story...boston rules...boston backs HAYE...we like guys who fight the best....win or lose...he is going after the beast
It'll be interesting to see if Haye,if poss, puts more muscle on in the next 6 months. His speed and Vitali's inactivity for me is why im siding with Haye. At odds of 7-2 for the win,i'm prob gonna lump money on the win and hope it pays for my trip. I thought Vitali looked just clumsy against Peters.
I agree about Klit winning but implying that Haye doesn't have the power the knock Vitali out by saying "Enzo walked through a Haye right" what you gorgot to say was that about 20 seconds later Enzo was staggering around the ring as if he has just drunk 15 pints, while Haye was celebrating.
Half of the people in this forum (I'm being generous too) know very little about boxing. Haye cannot be judged at heavyweight based on his performances at cruiserweight. Please tell me someone here remembers what everyone was saying about Holyfield when he moved up. He was down as cruiser, so they said his chin wouldn't hold up at heavy. His punching power at heavy was also in question. Look what he accomplished at heavy. With that said, Haye was a very tall and lanky cruiser, and I still feel he use a few more pounds of muscle after watching the Barrett fight. To compare Haye the tall lanky cruiser with the more filled in heavyweight version of Haye is just plain stupid. Believe it or not, building muscle in the upper shoulders and neck will help a fighter's ability to absorb shots. I do believe that Haye could fill out a little more and fight a couple more fights before Vitali or Wlad, but I gotta give credit where it's due and the fact of the matter is that David Haye has huge balls and win or lose has gained the respect of this boxing fan. I like the Klitschko's and I think that a character like David Haye is the perfect one to challenge them. This is great for the heavyweight division!!!
I've like Haye from the beginning, and he didn't let his confidence drop after Carl Thompson stopped him, he learnt from it. Since then he's went to Mormeck's back yard, got up from a knockdown and KOed him, then dismantled Enzo Maccarinelli in 2 rounds after Frank Warren had claimed he was running scared of him. He handled Monte Barrett in impressive fashion and now he's taking on an even bigger challenge. To say he's untested against world class opposition at Heavyweight is fair enough, but how do people know Vitali still has anything left in the tank? The Peter fight didn't prove anything imo.
One big shot from Vitaly and the fight will end, Haye's got a soft chin. Vitaly knows this and that is why he takes the fight!
