    ***** move, really?

Ok let's ignore the hype and fanaticism around Haye for a minute and look at his accomplishments so far.

His hw resume consists of: a washed-up barrett (who was a decent gatekeeper at his best) and some other bum. Though he scored a decisive ko win, he looked sloppy, amateurish and easily overpowered at times. ok that's it.

No one is gonna convice me wlad is ducking that. If he wants Wlad so bad, get into a mandatory position. Moreover, it was Haye who said he wanted Vitali, not wlad right after the rahman fight.

These claims "Wlad is ducking Haye" seem to be suggesting Haye's fans are quite skeptical of his chances against Vitali :yep

And when has wlad every ducked anyone. He fought undefeated Sam Peter who was supposed to be the last "savior" coming off the loss to Brewster. he was at his lowest and still beat him.

Longrob... as usual, you really don't make any sense.

#1. Anyone who actually thought that Peter had looked better AFTER his fight with Wlad, CLEARLY has not followed Peter's career. He was DEFINITELY sliding south. If the fight with McCline wasn't enough to show that, I don't know what else could. Peter trying to become a better technical fighter does NOT serve him well. Being wild and unpredictable is the only thing that he had going for him against Wlad. Manny Steward was talking up Peter because he knew that it could be a big fight, and he knew that Wlad would have absolutely destroyed him. As I said... Wlad already beat him, no need to do it twice, especially after the way that Peter looked against McCline.

#2. I see that you carefully leave out the fact that Wlad went and beat Byrd, after Byrd took Vitali's belt. You also leave out that Wlad just spanked Rahman... who all of the Klitschko haters said Vitali was running from, and afraid to fight. Why aren't you saying that Wlad is fighting those guys to protect Vitali? I guess it doesn't fit within your agenda.

Who cares if Haye called Wlad out? The man just moved up from Cruiserweight and started running his mouth. Wow... I guess that earns him a title shot... right? Haye was talking all sorts of **** when Wlad was clearly tied up in mandatory defenses. What a big man that makes him. Call out a fighter that you know can't fight you, and then cause a scene at a charity event. Great character. Funny how immediately after Wlad finished of Rahman, and turned his attention towards Haye, and actually has time to fight Haye next if Haye was interested... Haye decides to come to the press conference with a different tune, and says that he wants to fight Vitali instead.

I bet that you aren't smart enough to know why, are you?

Let me let you in on something... none of these fighters are afraid of each other. It is all about what makes the most money, and what makes the most sense. Wlad vs Haye is a big fight... now... they know damn well that they don't have enough time in between now, and when Wlad has to fight his mandatory against Povetkin to promote that sort of event. However, Vitali isn't wrapped up like Wlad is. Vitali had a mandatory, but he isn't worried about holding onto a title. He clearly doesn't plan on fighting much longer. Even if he does defend against Juan Carlos Gomez, they would still have time to promote the Haye fight by June. They are trying to put it in a HUGE venue, and make money. Don't be silly... that's what this is about. It is also about pride, and being the best, but they all know that Haye vs Wlad simply is not possible right now. However... can you imagine how god damn huge Wlad vs Haye would be if Haye beat Vitali? I am talking the biggest fights of this era for heavyweights. EXACTLY what the heavyweight division needs to come slamming itself back on the map.

If you didn't have your head up your ass, and maybe if you were a little more in depth with this sport... you could read between the lines like that. It isn't all about, this fighter called this fighter out, now they must defend their honor. That **** is lame. Haye hasn't earned a shot yet... the fight with Wlad can be much bigger if Haye actually proves himself at heavyweight... and this is a perfect way to get there. If Haye can't beat a 38 year old, injury riddled Vitali... then he sure doesn't belong in the ring against Wlad. If he does beat Vitali... then we have a huge fight on our hands. Best for everyone involved.

These are **** excuses. Vitali comes back and knocks off the two biggest punchers in the division.....nice! Not gonna expend anymore energy on trying to straighten a blinded knob slobber like you. Have fun in ignorance.

Exactly. Doesn't matter one iota which Klit gets to shatter Haye's glass jaw, just as long as SOMEBODY does it soon. Can't wait for this overrated hype job to get KTFO, just can't wait.

    Pap.

Wlad is 32 and going to have big fights against Povetkin and Dimentrenko.

Vitali is 37 and needs a legacy sooner rather than later.

This adding Gomez and Haye to the list, should he win, would be fine legacy building.

im a huge fan of both K bros, but the open letter has merit.

i was disappointed haye decided to take the easier fight against vitali. everyone keeps on saying how harder vitali will be but that is based on his fight against lewis like 5.5 years ago or something? and it's not like we saw vitali pushed to his limits by the mentally shot peter. i will not be surprised if age catches up with vitali, especially due to his numerous injuries, and 1 month short of his 38th birthday!

wladimir has defended his belts 15 times and against many mandatories, and is building a credible legacy. however, if wladimir ends up fighting david haye after he looses to vitali, the win wont earn him much respect even though i think david can bounce back from a loss. there of course is the chance that haye could beat vitali, so i guess then wladimir would be in the perfect spot to improve his legacy by making a huge unification/revenge match. so maybe this might turn out well for wladimir in the long run.

on the other hand i dont blame vitali because he doesn't have a lot of top tier wins, ranking wise, in his career therefore beating haye, especailly at his age and level of inactivity, will be a great feat to retire on.

i just hope vitali realises his brother needs to shine in the spotlight soon. career wise wladimir has done a **** load more than his brother, yet vitali is getting all the praise. unfortunate but true.

Vlad would knock Haye out and so would Vitali, either way, Haye gets knocked out. I see the fight going like Vitali Vs. Herbie Hide back in London for the WBO title, Vitali was a five to 1 underdog! It was a total mismatch. Hide is a hard puncher, good boxer, lots of power/speed, but his chin had no chance, Haye's chin is no better, probably not as good. Haye refused to fight Hide!

    It was.

This is the shorter version of the first post:

"Please don't KTFO my idol, David 'Herbie' Haye. I know if you fight him you will destroy him, so please call off the fight."
