Many deep reasons that I've went into in great detail in the past, and I may do so again in the future.

    An overview...

    1. Since stepping up to the top level the exciting style he displayed in the past has been replaced by a 'hook n hold' strategy making him resmeble a mini John Ruiz in that respect.

    2. His ducking of Mayweather at 140 when the fight was HOT and only taking the fight when there were plenty of asteriks attached with many made excuses 'Im a natural 140lber' (why didn't you fight him there then Ricky?) 'Im still the man at 140 even if I lose this one' (Well that explains it) then after the fight 'The ref didn't give me a fair shake, it was close up until the point deductions etc etc'. All meant to protect his marketability.

    3. His continued ducking of Witter, denying us Brits a mega clash. First it was that Witter didn't have a World Title, so he meant nothing to him (fair enough). Then when Witter won it, he had bigger fights to go for (I suppose that is a fair argument given that he did take on JLC and PBF) then when Witter was clearly the number 1 contender at 140, he still refused to fight him. Again, he didn't want to risk his status as Britains best fighter in and around that weight class, as it would damage his marketability.

    4. The rabid scumbag fans he attracts to the sport, who don't know a damn thing about it. OK the guy's trying to make money, but I can't help but resent him for that.

Nonetheless, I do give him credit for his numerous achievements and try to remain objective about him, I just don't like him all that much as a fighter.

juan manuel marquez would put a whoopin on hatton there is no contest. Paulie isnt even a true contender, dont get your hopes up he could barely beat Urango, and stole the fight from LC. Pac doesnt even want to fight him again, so it would be great to see him come out in a mexican get up to get beat down by true mexican warrior .

You really think JMM would put an ass whoopin on Hatton?
I think it would be an extremely tough fight for JMM. Hatton would be a lot bigger and a lot stronger than anyone JMM has ever been in with. That's not to say that I definitely think that Hatton would win but I'd have to favour him over JMM. JMM has been put down on numerous occasions by smaller fighters before. Would be an interesting clash of styles though.

Yep, that's really relevant to what I'm saying eh?

A fellow poster asked for my opinion on a boxing matter and I expressed it.

Stick to the sport please, but then it's highly likely that I know far more about Hatton than the pair of you which is probably why you focused in on that comment I made. Boxing related matters are probably beyond you.

Calling all fans of Hatton scumbags is no boxing matter so you stick to the topic.

Diaz and Marquez have both made Hatton offers, so he could have signed with either of them.

I think Hatton would rip JMM apart! Hatton Holds punches inside with lethal uppercuts,a nd punches to the body! Just too strong for JMM.

Where did I call all Hatton fans scumbags you moron :patsch

I called the so called 'fans' he attracts, you know the fairweather Man City football lot that don't know a jab from a cross, scumbags as demonstrated by their conduct at numerous Hatton fights in particular the PBF bout in the States.

Slim chance?? I give JMM a pretty striking chance against Hatton. Hatton more and more makes remarks about not having too much more in the tanks.. Any time now, Hatton is just not going to get up for the challenge. I'm not saying he will be washed up his next time out, but JMM is a warrior that I think can topple Hatton.

Very good speculation...I think Marquez would be tempting fate a little too much in this fight though.
