I dont think it is a poor thread to be fair

I just think there is nothing to fear if there is a invetaible discredting of Haye if he were to beat Vitali

It's more annoying that anything to be honest, the hypocrisy just really irritates me.

Fear is quite a strong term of course, but I can just see it coming: all the folks that pick Vitali being less inclined to praise Haye and more willing to focus on Vitali's percieved short comings, just to deny him credit.

    It's pathetic.

The Loch Ness monsters record is completely padded, typical Jock hype job

If Haye wins then people may go on about it being a weak division (fair enough) but I don't think anyone will deny that VK was the best of it, after all it was Sam Peter he beat in his comeback fight. As bad as Peter may be he was still seen as the next best to Wladimir.

The interesting thing to me is how Wlad reacts if Haye wins. We all know Vitali is the kind of guy who would get revenge for someone beating up his brother but will Wlad have the same balls? If Haye was to KO Vitali then win or lose I think a few people would have to revise their opinion of Wlad if he took on Haye afterwards.

Wlad took revenge on Chris Byrd for Vitali :yep

And I don't see why anyone can question Wlads fortitude in this respect, he easily has the best record of any HW active today. Byrd, Peter, Ibragimov, Brewster, McCline, TOS, Rahman, Thompson, Jefferson, Mercer, Barrett, Botha.....he's fought everyone that's anyone in an admittedly weak era in the HW division.

Of those fights, he took on the likes of Peter, McCline, and even to a degree Ibragimov when they were highly regarded and rated as dangerous fighters....

Wlad would fight Haye should he beat Vitali, of that I have no doubt.

The haters will backtrack like they always do. Not many admit to just being wrong after the event.

    I have said this

But I am actually just repeating what Enzo said

This is actually Enzo's official excuse for losing to David Haye

Remeber Enzo has never said he lost to the better man

In contrast he has said he still believes he is the better fighter

He said he lost because he made a "mistake"

The fans didnt say it................Enzo himself said it :deal

Although it is probably the done thing for haye to have another warm up, whats the point. He was unified cruiser king & has had 2 fights at the new weight, he's not gonna grow 2 or 3 inches or change his style. His style is pressure and big heavys do not like pressure.Remember how tyson cut the big boys down ,although admittedly a prime tyson was a harder to hit than haye.So lets biggup the hayemaker.

So that must mean you believe Clinton never had 'sexual relations' with Monica Lewisnsky then ??

Cos Clinton said it, just like Enzo said that.

Thank **** people never lie eh :good

Your obsession with Enzo is extremely unhealthy.

I admit here and now I think Haye has no chance.

That said I am a fan of David's and if he pulls it off somehow I will be delighted and give him full credit for a great win.

problem is with Haye I see him as too fragile

like he may start well and with his speed and power win the first 6 rounds and even hurt Vitali

but in the 7th round as a example.........it could only take one good round from Vitali...............one fully flush right hand.............or hurtful combination and Haye coul be in serious trouble.............or even down for the 10 count
