Im a really big fan of boxing, but when it somes to olympic judging it really sucks. Do you guys think the ruling should change??
its been said a lot lately that their is a clear division between olympic (points boxing) and the professional ranks, perfect example is the uks audley harrison... great points boxer but when the heat is on and someone takes him to the trench's he doesn't have the tool's/ heart to respond olympic boxing is like tai kwon do, its all points but if someone to cose the distance without a break then they would be in a world of trouble( like the old gold medalists of the pasts who wher in real fights as amatures)
They emphasis different things; Amateur boxing is probably more for boxing purists. Whereas professional boxing is more an entertainment game - ring girls, more blood, bare chests etc. I like it the way it is. Each has their very own identity.
