Kessler -Larsen in the works...

Maybe,but ''embarassment'' is a overstement.
The Larsen fight will happen.In january probably the fight will be set and in the summer the Andrade rematch,if he beats Tsypko.

 

I think Bute would be somewhat embarrassed after outboxing a guy and then getting knocked out in the last round in his hometown if it happened. That is probably the worst feeling you could ever have in a boxing ring when the job is so nearly done. But Andrade did his job...he wore him down despite getting outboxed and deserves his rematch now.

Larsen could fill the void.

 

Bute v Larsen is a good match up. Helps promote a future fight between the winner and Kessler. For now though, Kessler's best otion is to get a fight stateside with Taylor. That's a mega fight.

 

According to a Romanian boxing commentator who's spoken with Bute in the last couple of days, Bute is said to expect to fight most likely Larsen next, on the 13th or 14th of March.

 

Larsen saod on tv that he thinks kessler is a better figther then bute , but if he could chose he fight kessler.

The real story about those 2 guys is that about 4 years ago palle tryed to make the larsen - kessler. and larsen turned it down. latter on larsen had landed a titel shot but got injyred, kessler got the fight insted and the rest is history.. so naturely larsen must feel taking from behind by palle and kessler. in denmark it would fill the biggest stadium we got 45000 but outthere no one cares about that fight...

 

Apart from the fight been big in Denmark, This sells no where anywhere else. Kessler beats anyone currently active at 168 IMO, But he needs to go to the states now and stop wasting time with these pointless Euro fights!

 

he may aswel fight an Larsen there isnt an American who is worth the time of day by the looks of things, Taylor certainly doesnt fancy it.

Kessler.Froch.Inkin and bute are the fights that need to happen I can see unknowledgable American networks being able to make that happen.

It is not a good time to take the fight. Larsen is still a completely unknown (no matter whether he should be or not). I understand that the rest of SMWs are quite scared (for once that is the right word) of Kessler, but imo. a Lacy fight or something like that is a better option from a strategic point of view.
