I think Zappa's team wont rush into this fight.
Its a fight they should definitely consider in the coming 12 to 18 months.
If it does come about it will be at 140, nothing lower.

As a fan its a match i would really enjoy seeing right now, but i think the likelihood is that Zappa's team will want at least another fight or 2 before it happens.
I would personally take on Gairy St Clair 1st, see how that goes & then make a judgement from there.:deal

alright keggsy who the fuc...k are you and yeh your on the ball.
lenny will demolish st clair he dont need experience his gone to the games his super confident y waist time take out gannoy or is it to tough at the momment for lenny .
i think if he kos gannoy he becomes undisputedly the best tallent in country.
if he fights st clair someone who cant punch thrugh a brown paper bag i wont follow it anymore it will just be another picked fighter and the kid is better then that let me tell you i love the kid but ill be pissed at the desicion taking gary on y dont they take him over seas and let the kid make some money or ko the top prospects here feed him dib or kickett or gannoy

I would be suprised if Zappa fought and beat St Clair as easily as people seem to think it will be in here. The guy is no chump.

Browne made a few mistakes in his fight against Zappa and a couple critical ones (trying to fight on the inside in bursts and moving around to his left all the time.) Neither of which I think St Clair would make.
It would be a real dangerous fight for Zappa and one that would definantly test his stamina and ability to chase someone around the ring.

It would shape up as a great fight though.

Zappa was sounded out about a possible fight with Ganoy but they didn't want it. Ganoy lost his IBF pan pac belt with the loss in Sth Africa.

I can understand there position at this point. St Clair makes alot more sense considering he isn't a puncher.

Lenny is still raw in spots and has been checked a few times. They are stepping him up and doing it the right way imo.

At Claire is world class just because he got ripped in the Kicket fight people think he is a dud, make no mistake this is a risky fight for Zapp.
St Claire has a world class chin and we will definatly see Zappa in the deep water.

St Clair at jnr welter? He couldn't punch at super feather.

Not saying you need to have dynamite to rock Zap but Gairy will be tiny at 63.5. Lenny has a massive advantage in size and power. They have picked there mark in this one.

St Clairs advantages are obviously experience and he is a 12 rd fighter. He makes guys miss and Lenny can miss with alot of punches...and can get tired because of it. Against that, he has slowed down a step or two and doesn't seem to be the defensive whiz he used to be.

Zap will be too big and too strong for mine.

100% but it's hardly a mismatch, if they wanted to impress the hardcore they wouldn't have knocked back the Ganoy fight.
That's a fight I would like to see.

Zap/St Clair is a good fight. No doubt. Im interested in seeing it.

Zapps team are obviously keeping him away from punchers. Thats fair enough, he's young and has taken some dings already. Ganoys future is really undecided at the moment ( as you know) but it's fair to say he definately isn't on Zaps radar.

Going on the risks that Craig Christian has taken early days with Willie Kicket I think if they wanted to get right back where they were before the Elomar fight, a fight with Ganoy would be perfect especially because no one else wants it.

I don't think Willie will be in with him anytime soon either. He was dropped on the Hoppa / Bob card and KTFO last time around. He'll steer clear of punchers for a while, and I think that'd be sensible.
