Why do people still go on about Ricky and cuts ? He hasn't been cut badly for years yet everytime he fights people bang on about it. Hatton would have to have a cut the size of Levenshulme to be stopped anyway.

With Mick Williamson in his corner he ain't getting stopped on cuts.

He is the SRR of cutmen.

Some fighters have the most sloppy cutmen..... RJJ vs Calzaghe springs to mind.

I don't know whether he felt the need to employ Williamson earlier in his career because fights are stopped earlier in the UK than abroad.....

There is a section in his book where he explains the story about being prone to cuts.... when I can be arsed reading it again I will post.

True, but you always have that slight worry with anyone that has been cut badly before.

Im sure i read Ricky saying that he used to cut often and easily because he got a bad cut one fight and that greasey gunk they put on it during fights wasnt fully cleaned out of the cut after the fight. So after Rickys cut was stitched up, the grease (vasaline i presume) stayed inside his body and hardened.

When ever he got hit on the old cut the skin would hit this hardend and sharp vaseline and rip from the inside outwards.

Apparently he had surgery to remove this vasaline so he doesn't cut as bad or as often in that particular place anymore.

Anybody that Pacquaio fights is a mismatch expect for Mayweather.

12 months ago, 95% of the board would be predicting Hatton by KO

I think this fight is legit. not the best fight though.

I would still like to see Pac become WBC/WBA/WBO/IBF champion at 135

Definitely not a mismatch in my opinion. I would have preferred Pac-PBF but I'm still excited. It should be an action packed bout. I'm leaning towards Ricky but a Pac victory is definitely possible.

bradley isn't worthy of a fight with pac yet. he's yet to prove himself.

I am going 60/40 in hattons favour it will be a great fight non the less and lets see how both fighters cope with each style because hatton has fits against southpaws and lets see how pac can cope with hattons body punching especially that left hook what knocked the stuffing out of paulie.

Its a mismatch. Pacquiao is a multi-dimensional fighter. Hatton has one dimension which can be easily nullified by good movement and speed.

    Pac TKO 8

I would not call hatton a one dimensional fighter, he does have boxing skills and underrated foot speed hatton will make more of arguement of it than both diaz and oscar.

have we not heard this before that manny will lose. i see hatton doing his usual rushing in tactic and pacquiao picking him of with lead lefts and jabs then moving to the side while hatton rushes in. hatton will get hit to many times and get bust up bad!
