And won, where would you rank him at ATG?

And would you rank him higher than RJJ?

I am a MONSTER fan of B-Hop, but he couldn't do this. The weight difference would just be too much IMO. He is not even big for 175.

I disagree, he looks like he took on the weight pretty good. Look at Tarver, he's a big LTHVY, but Hopkins looked to be around the same size as him body wise, not height.

he is already above RJJ in my book. Didn't duck anyone and took much bigger risks than RJJ ever did.

I disagree, I think he looked smaller than Tarver, and he would be significantly smaller than Dawson or any cruiserweight.

Hopkins would beat Valuev quite comprehensively.

What was your opinion of Roy Jones immediately after he beat Ruiz in '03?

not nuthugging, more common sense. Jones jnr beat Hopkins anyway and is a 4 weight world champ

that he handpicked the worst beltholder at Heavyweight. The fight was a joke. It was a glorified sparring session. Had Roy hung around and fought some of the other "smaller" Heavyweights (Byrd etc.) I might have thought different. Nobody was asking him to fight the Super Heavyweights but he did his usual handpicking and fought perhaps one of the 2 worst beltholders in the last 30 years.

Valuev would do nothing for me. I favor Hopkins beating him right now. Now the Brothers Klit., that would be huge and it would further enhance Calzaghe's legacy as well as Jones. Don't forget, both beat Hopkins and the way Hopkins was forced to fight against Calzaghe looms large. If Hopkins beat a Klit Brother, he'd be top 25.

As usual, all irrelevant. I didn't ask you what your opinion was of the Jones-Ruiz fight/achievement, I asked you what your opinion was of Roy Jones - as a boxer. How did you rate his abilities?

I just answered your question. He was a handpicking farce. He has no Chin.

You asked about Jones after Ruiz. I answered.

His abilities against his handpicked opposition were OK but he REFUSED to take risks and fight the best fighters availiable to him.

We will never know how good he really was or was not because of that.

1st of all no one even mentioned Calzaghe on this thread, how his name came up must be because you have his nutts in your mouth.

2nd, how the **** do you assume that if Hopkins gets a win over either of those guys if does anything for either of them? Just because Hops could do it, that don't mean that they could. If that was the case, Hopkins wouldn't have been able to beat Tarver or Pavlik.

This piggybacking legacy **** is ****ing ridiculous.
