Stupid thread admittedly, but has there ever been an openly homosexual boxer?

The Bruno rumours are an American thing only, started in 1983 when he was in America.
Some of the American fighters he sparred with were not used to his polite manners and British accent, so they thought him a homo.

These were men like Jeff Sims, street guys, ex-thugs, ex-cons, men from the roughest corner of the ghetto.
They took Bruno's polite manners are a "sure sign" of homosexulaity.

 

Homosexuals aren't all a bunch of effeminate queens though. I've known one or two queers that were monsters physically, and they didn't act at all "gay." They acted just like a normal guy. One of them even played rugby, so you just can't say.

This probably the case, it is pretty hard to know who is and isn't gay now as it has become a generally accepted lifestyle, (mind you I live in Sydney which is probably the gay capitol of the southern hemisphere. I used to work for a firm of architects in Sydney called PTW who were an equal opportunity employer if you go to their website it states their employment ethos which I think is being generally adopted by modern cultures in the western world.
