Doc says he's hoping that the injury will heal naturally (no surgery) within 3-4 months. But here's the more important question:

Interviewer: Getting an arm "healthy" means something completely different for an average person than for a professional heavyweight boxer. I will ask straight up - according to you, will Andrew Golota ever step into the ring again?

Doctor: No one knows, however, if I were to answer that question today, I would say no.

He's going to need some extensive rehabilitation as well.

I hate to say it, but I really think Golota should have left the sport after the Mollo fight. It was the perfect high note to end on.

According to an article at polskiboks.pl They will get a second opinion after the holidays and make a decision. Nice article too about how Andrew and his family are spending the holidays. I can not read polish but I used poltran.com and it translated it fairly well.

Happy holidays to everyone on the Golota express!!!!

Hearing this news, and it sincerely pains me to say, it's becoming obvious that we ought to stick a fork in him, he's done.
