I think Arguello at 130 would've had too much for Chavez to overcome. I wouldn't be surprised if Arguello beat him at 135 too. I think Chavez gets flattered a little too much for the Rosario performance.
I like Arguello in this one. I think he'd get the decision anyway but maybe could bust Chavez up and stop him. Chavez had some great, subtle defensive skills but Arguello would be too precise and would also got to the body often. Chavez would have to press the fight due to Arguello's height and reach and it would play right into Arguello's hands.
Pryor tends to get WAY overrated in this part of the forum. What is Arguello going to do when he realizes he can't hurt Chavez? Not to mention that Chavez' best punch was the straight right which constantly landed against Arguello. :hi::hi:
I'm not trying to fuel your fire, but there's something to your highlighted bit. I just think it would be more prevalent at 135 or 140 than at 130, where Chavez wasn't quite what he'd achieve and Arguello was in his peak. At that weight it's pretty much a pick'em with Arguello's body shots (particularly the right uppercut to the body) working just as effectively as Chavez's.
