Why doesn't Froch get over it and start finding some decent opposition not mulling over retirement? I really am getting to dislike the guy.

warren arranged manfredo, calzaghe is arranging his own fights now and may only have one more....do we really want him to waste that last fight on froch who we all know he can beat.
we want calzaghe to fight someone who has a good chance of beating him to make it a more exciting last fight to see if he keeps his "0".

This freakin' guy has yet to face a Bika-Andrade level fighter, and all he talks about is Calzaghe, Kessler, Pavlik, and Taylor; all guys who would hand him his ass. He needs to smarten up and realize boxing is a business where proving yourself is a helluva lot more important than running your mouth!

Too right. I hope he fights Kessler or Taylor soon. Then we'll see what he's made of. Somehow, I just can't see either fight taking place.

Maybe, but for someone who really hasn't faced top-class opposition he really does run his mouth off too often.

HBO wanted Manfredo, Carl should consider him not Calzaghe.

...but didn't he fight Peter over there...???

...and is Froch not better known in Europe than Manfredo is...???

It was probably easier to sell Manfredo as an "American star" in Europe, than it is to call him that here.

I understand where Froch is coming from, but Joe C. has increased his star power since that fight...

That is exactly my point. There are several high level gate keeper types at 168 who are well known in the USA. Carl should focus on that type of fight. If he has to fight on Versus or ESPN, so be it. Adamek/Cunningham was on Versus. If it was good enough for them, why isn't it good enough for Carl "Who the **** is" Froch?

Actually Bika would be a good fight for Froch. Bika is pretty well known, in the context of the division anyway. He's fought some of the biggest names and held his own.

I would say Andrade...that would be one hell of a war...but it might just upset Froch's applecart. I think it would be all wrong for The Cobra.
