I gotta say, Kellerman was great on Cotto/Margarito... Lampley couldn't be more bias.

Very true, if only he didn't get Ko'd in that last round. I'd like to have seen him win won. :bbb

Lampley is sick blow by blow commentator, he may seem biased sometimes but trust me ull miss him when he's gone..
Kellerman knows his **** but he annoys the **** out of me. He's too loud, talks too much in the post-fight interviews, and opens his eyes way too much.

Lampley does'nt seem bias, he is bias.

I agree, Lampley is great at what he does.....he's a great blow by blow commentator.......nobody around today even comes close, but his outright bias is just nauseating.
......as the years have passed, he's done less and less to even try to hide his bias.
His bias is outright blatant, and its aimed at the casual fan that just does'nt know any better.
Thats what disgusts me......the casual fan is getting its boxing education from a biased bought off hypocrite!

Its also funny when they were replaying Cotto taking a knee, Lampley was crying that Margarito should of been DQ'd for hitting Cotto while he was down.

I usually like Lampley and think he's great when he has no rooting interest, but his commentating in this fight is awful. If you listened to just the broadcast, you'd think Cotto landed punches 10-1 on Margarito, and I'm not even remotely close to joking. Then his insistence on pointing out that tiny push/punch when Cotto was on one knee was just inane. One of the most biased commentaries I've heard yet.

I will admit he was a bit biased. He even teared up a bit when the interviewing was done and they were showing a "montage" of that nights events. I think it was obvious that Cotto was a favorite of his. I think the man has his biased nights with his favorite fighter. But overall I think he's a great commentator. He's lively and passionate when he speaks. He makes great fights feel even better. And out of all the commentators, he's the one that goes absolutely NUTS when the **** hits the fan. Steward is too calm and collected. Kellerman doesn't really go beserk. Lewis just agrees with everything. Merchant rambles on and on in his drunken tone. He's the only making things lively and exciting, as well as being one of the few you can actually understand.

Its all part of the drama and sensationalism with the crying.

They also showed Gayweather crying....check out one of the avatars....
    Hillarious....Hillarious....Hillarious....Hillarious....Hillarious..did I say Hillarious?

Also, Lampley was biased in the Judah - Cotto fight....obviously leaning
towards Judah and even tried to disguise advice to Judah while commentating in telling him that he would be well advised to take a longer rest from the blow to the chickensack.

sometimes when comments are made, at the time in the fight they might be true or can be seen this way, at that point in the fight joe was not totaly dominating like a couple of rounds later, even know i had joe win every round but the first, an i thought the comment seemed a little out of palace, i didn't feel is was totaly unwarrented, joe was not as sharp as he got yet, but kellerman always held jones in high regard:hi:
