Yeah, they are nothing like what today's BIG and exciting HWs put on. Valuev, the Klitscko's... have they ever been part of a boring fight? Lewis-Holyfield I and II - now that's fireworks!

The first Patterson fight. Moore also, he was very fast. The most entertaining was Richard Dunn. Norton 1 & Foster is also very good.

quarry because it was his comeback fight and he put on a great show!

williams becasue I think it was his most complete performance when he was around his prime!

sheer excitment and edge of your seat action has to be ali frazier 3

for some reason I like ali v wepner maybe becasue he'd never been put down or stopped before and it was intriqueing to see if ali could do it!

liston 1 for the interview afterwards

I also like the brian london fight as his finishing combination is awesome! soooooooooooo fast

and finally foreman as he was such a big underdog, the commentary was mint, the crowd cheering, ali showboating

its hard to pick just one my choice would differ daily depending on my mood :tong

what do you think is boring about it? youve gotta remeber the heat was horendous, and there are heavyweights, the punches each fighter threw and took was amazing IMO the heart both fighters showed makes the current hw look laughable! I think stubborness and the hatred for eachother was the only thing that kept them up!

Ali-Williams: sharpest fastest and totally impossible to hit.
Ali-Liston 1: sharp and fast hard to hit
    Ali- London: speed speed speed
    Ali-frazier 2: dancing for 12 rounds
Ali-Frazier 3: hardest heavyweight fight ever

FOTC. Nice balance of skill and willpower. It's Frazier/Ali without having to watch them kill one another like they did in their third fight, or the clinch fest that was their second fight.

I understand the heat was bad and they showed heart, but watching Fraizer bob about, at times aimlessly, when Ali is on the ropes Fraizer does not pick his punches at all. I just think like all things Ali it is very overated.

By the way I agree that the current crop of heavyweights are useless, with the exception of V Klitschko

You really are being serious :patsch

The Williams fight. No heavy as ever looked as good in the ring. Never get sick of watching that performance. Liston 1 & Frazier 3 are favs aswell.

All out war of the Ali Frazier 3 , Ali thought Frazier was past it and it would be a easier fight than the last 2 . But Frazier had other ideas !!

Classic fight .. Fight of the Century

Ali sucked against Lyle. He was like a teenager in there fooling around for too many rounds. Peek-a-boo style with a lot of nonsense going on beween his ears. The killer instinct he showed was very impressive after rocking Lyle back with a right hand from the centre of the ring towards the ropes. He tripled up superbly well with his left hook when Lyle covered up.

FOTC was the best a perfect blend of skill and will

i can see where people are coming froma li was boring after The thrilla he was a lot like bernard hopkins in a holding and hitting sort of way and relied on quick minnd rather than quick hands
