If Haye can somehow get a heavyweight belt, Hopkins could go beat him and have a HW title as well. :smoke

    Hopkins - Taylor 3 ??
    Hopkins - Adamek ?
    Hopkins - Jones ??????
Kessler is only for pocket money ??

Probably Hopkins end up fighting Pac-man ......huge money in that fight.

It is all up to the "Mecca of boxing" Where do we go from here, seeing some old US-fighters against each other or the best fighting the best? US it is you call - boxing 2009 could be a great boxing year!!

    1. Jones
    2. Kessler at 168 or Dawson at 175 or Adamek at 200 in Philadelphia

Explain to me how (a) Hopkins was linear at LHW and (b) Adamek is linear at CW.

There are very decent arguments IMO to argue that Hopkins was linear at LHW. However, the argument that would be made for that at the same time negates any possible arguments that could be made for arguing that Adamek is linear at CW (though I think the arguments for that are weak in any case).

Call me crazy, but here is my dream scenario:

BHop retires and becomes a trainer.
Pavlik leaves Top Rank and signs with Golden Boy.
Hopkins and his dream team take over Pavlik's training.

That will not happen, but it sure would be fun.

Pavlik's confidence wouldn't be done much good by his trainer beating him up every day in training :bbb

Probably not. When I read your post I had a mental vision of Bernard slapping the **** out of Kelly with the pads, and laughed out loud:rofl
