Anyone have any info on Oleksandr Usyk, the Ukraine amateur heavyweight?

Also, are there any other good amateur heavyweights?

Any new pro heavyweights worth discussing?

I have heard that Jeremiah Graziano can hit really hard.

    Tyson Fury 1-0

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/ot...-on-the-heavyweight-block-Boxing-and-MMA.html

With a name like that im expecting great things .......

Luke Tyson Fury (b.1986 )in Manchester, England is a Professional boxer best known to win Bronze at the World Junior Championships 2006 in Agadir at super heavyweight and the 2008 ABA Super Heavyweight Championship

Fury, whose father John Fury was a British heavyweight in the 90s who fought Henry Akinwande, was named in tribute to the infamous Iron Mike.
He started boxing in 2002, stands 6ft 9in tall and his debut fight weighed in 17 stone 12lbs.
At the World Championships 2006 in Agadir he lost to Uzbek Sardor Abdullayev 31:36.In England he participated in the senior national championships 2006 but was beaten by David Price (boxer).
In May 2007 he won the EU junior championship and lost to Maxim Babanin in the final of the European Championships. He is ranked #3 in the world (juniors) behind the Russians Maxim Babanin and Andrey Volkov, and lost out to Price in going to the Olympics in Beijing, which Fury believes he would have come back with the gold medal.
In 2008 he signed professionally for British promoter Mick Hennessey. In his debut fight(Decemeber 6th) on the Carl Froch-Jean Pascal WBC Super-Middleweight, at the TrentFM Arena in Nottingham. He defeated Hungarian journeyman Bela Gyongyosi in the first round in 2:14secs, a fight which he took on short notice as he was away on honeymoon with his wife.

i would wait a 3 or 4 years on fury yet.

dimetrenko has the best chance v the 2 klitchko`s imo

he has lots of flaws , cant fight on the inside for ****, is a bit chinny, basically a jab and move fighter , and box`s by numbers a lot.

    but is 6.7 has a fast jab/fast feet /and is a solid 250lb man.

not going to light up the division and americans will hate his style but he is effective.

boystov is going backwards at the moment.
i have not been impressed with his latest form and he needs to show something .
he was better punch picker 3 years ago, experience is not helping, perhaps he has gone stale.

not going to get the job done on current form.

none of the other up and comming euro heavys will beat the klitchko`s in any shape or form.

i beleive it when i see him weighing 225lb.

until then he is a good fighter with the foot speed of a giant tortoise who is full up.

you said that he has lost a lot of weight.

lets see how much dedication to training he has in 2009.

gomez has more talent than solis IMO , but again lacks dedication in the gym .

talent only gets you so far .

I am resolutely unimpressed by any HW prospect at the moment. Agree with Sean that Boystov looked promising at one stage but has done nothing since!

well, Wawrzyk just UD10'ed the guy Haye knocked out in 1 round a little while back...but he's a heck of a lot better then Wach.

what's that stupid thing they keep doing when they get hit they bounce on their toes for a second and then go back to being completely flat footed?
