People know he has a glass chin and say it...maybe he doesn't or maybe he has a chin problem connected to stamina problems. It's irrelevant anyway as most just resume at he has a glass chin.
He has 3 losses in 55 fights. You are deducting too much from these 3 losses. Can you imagine someone would have 3 WINS in 55 fights and I would deduct he is a power puncher. Ridiculous.
Name the top15 heavyweight boxers (real heavyweight 200+, no Marciano there or Joe Louis) above Klitschko... PLEASE! Please only those who have, letsay, at least 20 fights against 200+ opponents....
Read closely,it's not about ME,I know he has chin/stamina issues but he doesn;t have a glass chin but it's about THE REST that say it.I couldn't give a damn.
Why do you feel you can exclude every fighter who fought under 200lbs from an ATG HW list? I've never encountered anyone, ever, who applied such stringent limitations to an ATG list! Louis fought over 200 plenty.
So you want me to take Marciano(a clearly better ranking HW) out just on size.Let's take all of them out just cuz Wlad is big physically. He is nowhere near top 15 anyway,he is around top 20-top 30
1) At the same age, Lennox wasn't viewed as close to top 5. The difference you speak of is simply that one has his legacy completed, the other's is still a work in progress. 2) His competition, should he continue to win, is just as comparable to many HW champs. People put too much emphasis on the "career defining" fight and wind up ignoring the entire depth of resume too much. Take George Foreman for example- I posted the exact numbers in another thread because for some reason, there was the misconception that Klitschko was the one inflating his records by fighting bums. Wlad doesn't have one career validating performance, but his resume is fine overall. 3) Tony Thompson isn't a fighter you should mention to knock down a resume. He's a tough matchup for anyone, is the best US heavyweight fighting right now, and is a solid win. Again, not career defining, but a point of strength rather than one of weakness.
Below-200 counts for the cruiserweight ATG. 200+ counts for the heavyweight ATG. Or would you include Roy Jones also on a heavyweight ATG toplist? I don't want to make a p4p ATG, since this is a topic about the "HW division now". 19 times (16 KOs) of which 7 actually wasn't 100% heavyweight since Louis himself was below 200. I mean, come on, if it's THAT OBVIOUS that Wlad doesn't even belong in the top15 heavyweight ATG then name the 15 who are OBVIOUSLY above Wlad. OK, you can say Lennox, Ali, Foreman, Holmes, Tyson, Holyfield and then.... who else is there?
Tony Thompson's best win is over Luan Krasniqi for christ sakes, and it wasnt even the best version of Luan, which was the one Brewster had difficulties early on with, but never gave up and found away to knock his man down and then out the next round. Thompson is just another tall, awkward southpaw, that took Wlad entirely too long to finish off. I dont care if he hasnt lost in 6 or 7 years, look at his competition, it's like putting me on a basketball court with a bunch of 12 yearolds half my size, and every once in awhile throwing in a guy my own age, with less skills than me, that I know I could beat with some effort. If you think fighters like Rahman and Thompson are top level competition for the number 1 Heavyweight in the world, your either delusional or the division is worse than I previously thought.
