No, Ali was a draft dodger, who at first tried to do the "I am a minister gig" that was disallowed. So IMO he was not near the "brave" man he was painted....Had he come out with hell no I won't go, instead of trying to weasel out of it...I'd had another opinion.

He like Liston was dyslectic and originally 4F until they started scraping the bottom of the poor man's barrle...The rich went to collage and had two kids....
Even the poor quickly had two kids.
/some of the rich had sexual orientation problems spoken with their pacifistic shrinks.
    Others joined the National Guards.
Or had real bad asmaha that cleared up on their 26th birthdays, when they became too old to draft..
The one's to admire were those who did not run to Canada, but told the Government no....and took their jail time....they took their medicine like men.

riddick bowe was down at parris island he lasted threw week of intake but left after the first 3 training days but hey i give him credit he already was millionare and a world champion he didnt really need to be there it was just his dream to be a marine should have joined before he went pro not the other way around i guess he thought he could train for a fight he could train for the marines but ive done both and the marines is alot harder mostly because of the DI stressing you out and you being dead tired

The US doesn't have any bases that I know of in Ireland, so I don't know how he'd have been born there.

general santos, the place where pac came from is home to many filipino soldiers fighting insurgents in the south of the philippines. if pac did not became a boxer at an early age, i'm sure he could have become a soldier since this is one of the only few options of poor familes to earn some decent living. as of now, i don't know if he would be called as a reservist if the need arises in case of war but as of present, he is already involved not by carrying arms but by going into army camps whenever he was not fighting and giving some inspiration to soldiers who are in the line of duty.
