I agree. I feel the BOB is a little overkill. It's fun and all, but it does nothing more than a heavy bag does, and cost 150 extra.
Its because i have nowhere to hang a bag so i thought that the BoB might be a nice little replacement.
well i would get one of those sugar ray leonard ball things that spring back on a base or one of them bags mounted on a base
I have a friend who got one as a gift that I have used before. Personally, I wouldn't buy 1 for 50 dollars. It has a weak base and can be knocked over very easily. Heavy bags are much better IMO. If you buy one you will be EXTREMELY disappointed.
We had one in the gym and it fell to bits after a month so we got it replaced with another one and that fell to bits. These bags are good for precision punching: http://store.titleboxing.com/2indoubendba.html
I tried it once, didn't like it. and thats a pretty expensive bag. I like my heavy bag, cobra flex, double end bag and speed bag alot better.
