he has a chance, if cotto doesnt train right and jennings doesnt bottle it. jennings is a big WW and cotto isnt, so if he can get on top of a cotto thats not in the right frame of mind, he could get a shock. doubt it though, hopefully jennings is being paid well.
kudos for Jennings taking the fight, but he simply does not stand a single chance of seeing round 7 never mind winning. He is not particularly strong in any area which would enable him to have a chance
Jennings ONLY chance is if Cotto is looking too far ahead towards his rematch with Margarito and loses concentration or doesn't train properly. Even then his chance is a remote one...
Ironically I watched that fight last night. I was quite suprised by Holligan's grit. He was only stopped by cuts, after his best round
Good luck to Jennings and let's hope he isn't totally disgraced and he uses the inevitable defeat as a stepping stone / learning experience and continues to progress.
Like someone said earlier in the thread jennings doesnt do anything outstanding hes technically pretty good and has good footwork but cotto even coming off a beating he took from marg has miles too much for micheal. Best i can see him doing is lasting mid rounds before being stopped.
