No order 1) Vargas vs. Trinidad (best pay-per-view fight of the decade) 2) Castillo vs. Corralles I 3) Vasquez vs. Marquez (any one really) 4) Barerra vs. Morales I 5) Pacquiao vs. Morales I Of course, Gatti vs. Ward could have been there but I'm only ranking fights between legitimate contenders. Anything to add.
1: Corrales-Castillo I 2: Vazquez-Marquez, trilogy (especially II) 3: Gatti-Ward, trilogy (especially I) 4: Barrera-Morales, trilogy (especially I) 5: Sithchatchawal-Monshipour
For me: 1. Corrales vs. Castillo I. 2. Ward vs. Gatti I 3. Vasquez vs. Marquez III 4. Morales vs. Barrera I 5. Vasquez vs. Marquez II 6. Sithchatchawal-Monshipour 7. Gatti vs. Ward III 8. Pacquiao vs. Morales II 9. Trinidad vs. Vargas 10. Barrera vs. Morales III or Morales vs. Pacquiao I. Hard to decide.
1.corrales-castillo 2.gatti-ward 1 3.gomez-arthur 4.vazquez-marquez 3 5.gatti-ward 3 6.morales-barrera 1 7.marquez-pacquiao 1 8.cotto-margarito 9.vazquez-marquez 2 10.morales-pacquiao 1/trinidad-vargas
I'd also make a tactical top5, no order here: Calzaghe-Kessler - superb display of awkward vs. textbook boxing Marquez-Barrera - extremely deep fight in skills Barrera-Hamed - another techical gem Morales-Pacquiao - Erik boxed very very well Taylor-Wright - not FOTY stuff, but very good display of skills
1. Barrera/Morales I 2. Corrales/Castillo 1 3. Marquez vs Vasquez II 4. Cotto vs Margarito 5. Trinidad vs Vargas
Agree with all the fights that have been posted, but I'd throw in Trinidad/Mayorga, although onesided, it was still VERY entertaining.
definitely Castillo/Corrales also, I watched it again recently on ESPN classic they have five of Diego's fights on a few weeks ago.
I can also agree with the most fights. And Mayorga - Trinidad was absolute entertaining look... http://http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=KfJ5cVnjJRo
