One fighter that comes to mind who was effective fighting both as a southpaw and out of the orthodox stance was Marvin Hagler. Evidence to that could be the Roberto Duran fight where he constantly switched and confused Duran. By doing that the left hand began to open up and land often. The 6th round of the fight is where it really became evident

See below to see what i mean 3:00-till end of video.

Miguel Cotto is fairly effective from the southpaw stance. He's not quite as skilled as he is with the orthodox stance, but he switches in order throw hard left handed powerpunches.

Roy in his prime could fight as a southpaw VERY effectively. Mosley sometimes switched to southpaw too in his prime, but he didnt fight southpaw as well as RJ.

He does switch hit but from what ive seen its no that effective... In the Bradley fight one of the reasons he lost was because he confused himself, he couldnt figure out which way to stand and attack.

Hamed was notable for his switch-hitting. He did it pretty well, most of the time.

Livingstone Bramble was a natural righty, but won his world title over Mancini by going southpaw and confusing him. In his prime, Bramble was as good a switch hitter as anyone.

which cost him the fight IMO...by fighting orthodox in the early rounds and giving those rounds up is what hurt him
