99 onwards Tyson gets stretched by Tua. Holyfield would have outpointed David.

  3. Holyfield would be rocked but would win a UD say, 116-112. Tyson would be interesting, can't see tua falling to Irons power though, so maybe tua could force a late stoppage.

From 1998 to 2000, Tua was perceived to be a high risk low reward fight for anybody at the top of contention.

I can still clearly remember all the hype for Lewis-Tua, majority picked Tua to KO Lewis.

Tua had been calling out Tyson for a while, even after 2000 but Tyson never had interest in Tua.

At the height of Tua's popularity (which was late 1999 to early 2000), Tyson once asked what he thinks of Tua and he said he thinks he's got power and can take a helluva punch and as such he would like to train him :patsch

As to Holyfield, Tua was Holyfield's sparring partner for the Holyfield-Tyson fight. They were both under Ronnie Shields during the late 90s so that does the deal. Both of them were dominated by Lewis and after that both were on the downfall of their career.

Holyfield beat Tua easily in sparring in 96. I think, he would have beaten him easily in real fight as well.

Holyfield would beat Tua ...Tyson post prison and Tua would have been good and it would have come down to chins and i think Tua's is a lot sturdier...Tyson pre-prison is a different story he was better at taking a punch and wanted to fight still where after prison he had to fight and wasnt really into it mentally anymore

Prime Holyfield is just too much movement, chin, and heart for Tua.

Prime Tyson would've steamrolled Tua. Maybe not knocked him out, but easy dominating UD.

If all 3 men were in their primes when they met (which Tua is considerably younger then the other 2) Holyfield would win a UD 12, and Tyson would probably win via late round stoppage. However in the late 90's Tua wins a close decision over Tyson and barely loses to Evander via decision as well.

imo, which ever tyson faces tua, he would have a problem. why? because tua is a less reachier version of foreman for tyson.

he packs the same kinda punch and fights similar. for his defense, tua doesnt use too much head movement, rather the simplest and most effective defense for boxing, the shoulder rolling, blocking with the elbows or the arms, whilst rolling side to side.

so whilst tyson is doing his bobbing and weaving, tua will tee off, and imo thats suicide for tyson. its like running into a train, you wont hurt it, but if it hits you...:!:

tyson cant run into tua, 1) he cant take tua's power which is arguably more than foremans 2) the chances of tyson stopping tua are slim, cos of tua's chin and defense.

tysons best chance is to box around tua, but we know tyson wont do that. so i say tua knocks tyson out within 6 rounds. tua is very underatted, just becos he neva won the title and then came into the lewis fight like a pig it doesnt mean he wasnt championship material. even roy jones said it.

i dont have a clue how tua-holyfield would go. can holyfield take the power?

i wonder how their sparring sessions went?

why do you think tyson wanted no part of tua? becos tua could really fight. tyson never fought foreman cos of his power and his fighting ability, i feel its the same reason for avoiding tua.

****ing idiot, Tua is not even top10 of all times in terms of power.. Razor Ruddock is, and Tyson took Ruddocks powersmash.

He would **** Tua up and send him home.

They would ice this heartless *******s, the hype of Tua is ****ing ridiculous.
He couldn't even beat Rahman, and now Tyson couldn't "go straight at him" ?

Stop with those ludicrous statements, its foolish enough saying David Tua is a bigger powerpuncher than Foreman. Tua can throw one left hook, other then that he's worse than your average joe. Ask Lennox Lewis, he said Tua is a joke.

I also believe prime Tyson and Holyfield beat prime Tua, but it would be a close fight, maybe Tua could even score a kd.

Thing is Tua was always a big risk to any champion, his chin and toughness would keep him in the fight till the end and his insane power could cause an upset at any time. That combination is what kept Tua away from title fights, as the champs would only fight him if they were absolutely forced to by way of mandatory rights.

Tua, on the other hand, could have got himself mandatory status a lot more times during his career, and that would have taken himself to own a belt sooner or later.
