Nothing is my game. Bernard is a very good boxer and a future HOFer. but given the extra weight and with Hayes power and speed he couldn't handle it. Haye would abuse him simple as
Well Bernard would need awhile to put on the weight properly but once he took Haye past 4 or 5 he shatter Haye's glass jaw. I suppose Bernard would need to build himself up to around 200 lbs. Haye is not very technically sound. Would be easy for Bernard to take advantage of it. Haye KOing B-hop is a joke.
Haye within 2. But the only way this fight would happen, is it Haye dropped down to 160lbs, so Hopkins could be the stronger man.
Anyone saying that Hayes, KO's hopkins in under 6 rounds are insane. A stoppage is definitely possible, but Hopkins would make it boring and possibly end up taking a decision lost or KOed after 8. People are underestimating Hopkins defensive prowess or overestimating Haye's relentlessness.
Haye sometimes is relentless and threw bombs constantly in his early days (that's why he has a loss when he gassed against thompson). I think hopkins is one of the best defensive fighters of our era but could he hold off someone so much heavier and stronger who has legitimate p4p power (which is impressive for a hw). Haye is also one of the best finishers there is, so if hopkins got hurt then Haye would probably take him out. I think it would be a competitive fight until haye landed 1 clean punch then he would be all over him.
