    will haters finally stop...

    1)doubting his skills
2)saying he has a weak chin
3)thinking fast fighters will be too much for him
4)thinking he is a one dimensional fighter
5)bringing up the corley and torres fight

i ask this b/c these are all the knocks that Cotto gets. i can understand the people that are saying it will be a tough fight b/c they give valid reasons. but you would think that people would stop saying the same things when every fight Cotto is in, he constantly proves people wrong.

yup... I'm not a hater. I love watching Cotto fight, and beating Shane should definitely prove he is a top 10 p4p fighter.

One, two, and five may follow him till the end of his career. It wouldn't matter.. That Sugar Shane victory would mean everything in the world

Yep, if he beats Mosley then he goes to the top 10 p4p list, and really is an elite fighter.
Cotto isn't one-dimensional, he is a better boxer than Trinidad IMO.

Yes, if he beats Mosley in impressive fashion, then he will have entered superstardom and a spot among the P4P elite

What I dont get is why isnt PBF bashed so much when got rocked just as badly against Corley also. no body ever talks junk about that. they seem to conveniently forget that fact.

Why make a thread saying "If Cotto?" Chances are its not going to happen.

that's just your opinion. i actually wanted to name the forum...

"when cotto beats mosley...", but i didnt want to come off biased as a Cotto fan b/c although he is my favorite fighter, i'll be the first to admit that this is his toughest fight. but i do believe he will win either 9 rounds to 3 or 8 rounds to 4

He makes top 10, i'd put him at 7 if he beat mosley
i jus think he would need more domination in different weight classes
to be a high contender on p4p.

btw i dont see cotto beatin mosley.

Because Floyd wasn't hurt as bad nor ever officialy knocked down. We've seen Cotto on the brink of a loss and Floyd hasn't really been halfway there. Watching Cotto come so close to defeat only to win in stunning fashion touches us inside and stirs the soul. It automatically brings an aura of no doubt and fear about this man. Floyd doesn't appeal to me in that way; not that its a bad thing in any way, but he is just a whole other fighter who doesn't take risk that would allow him to be in such dangerous situations.

I see the Cotto/Mosley fight as a tossup but deep down I don't want to see Sugar Shane win. I have a lot of respect for Cotto's fight game and will be a nervous Sugar Shane supporter come fight night.

The most important thing about fighting Cotto IMO is not to let this man back into the fight. Don't let him build any momentum. I can honestly say that I wouldn't be surprised if Cotto picks himself off the canvas to put Sugar Shane down himself.
